    2-3 Matchup Zone

Has anyone ever tried running the 2-3 matchup zone? I am at Temple in my legacy and decided to run it since it seemed like a great defense to use and after all, I AM at Temple. But after two games with it I've found that the CPU gets a LOT of points in the paint. And usually, the points come from the CPU just passing it to someone open down there or just driving to the basket. It just is so unrealistic when the CPU scores 90 points and maybe 60 of those points were scored in the paint. Is this normal or is it just that the AI is not intelligent enough to run this defense? Thanks for any replies.

"AI is not intelligent enough to run this defense?"

Pretty much this, especially at high difficulties. I like to play the Center so I can make it a hybrid 2-1-2, but two things either happen: both guards trap the ball handler leaving the SG open or the high post swings it to the corner and then the corner passes it back to the paint for a shot in the lane.

I will still switch to Zone here and there, but you cant win with it in a competitive game. Granted I can't get Zone to work in NBA 2K either.

Thanks. I ended up just switching back to my old defensive sets (M2M, 2-3, 3-2). I just had heard about the announcers talking about the "famous Temple zone" so when I searched it up, I thought that it would be cool to run it in the game since it is so effective in real life . To be fair, it is pretty hard to master, but there are some simple rules of this defense (like the constant switching) that I guess the AI just can't do.

And BTW I am using rspencer's sliders, so I am on the All-Conference difficulty level.
