So opening sales don't matter? They virtually mean nothing? I'm not accusing you of saying that, but I think that's what you're saying. If it means nothing, why is it being reported of something of significance?
My point is, the stats matter. Estimates or not. Be it opening week or total overall sales. If you can come up with the differences not included in vgchartz than I like to see it. I don't mean that in a sarcastic way, I'd actually like to know and I'll try to find it myself.
Let's back on point.
The sales are still strong despite doing lower numbers on a special anniversary game. However, what company thinks that doing is less is okay? None that I know of or else they wouldn't be around much longer. A company always wants to outdo itself.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying it is open to debate. It will be interesting to see how the next open sales do along with the overall sales of Madden NFL 15. Believe me, I want to give EA Sports my money. I'm rooting for them, not against them.
