Other than the defensive improvements I'm most excited about this

RD: For years, Madden fans have asked to see a greater separation in QB play due to accuracy. Pass accuracy plays a huge role in the NFL and now it will in the game as well. We tweaked our system to make it so not every single throw is either perfectly on the numbers or way out of bounds, there’s more nuance and passes that are slightly offline, but potentially catchable. This has a huge impact on the game both functionally and aesthetically. This system also creates noticeable separation between the QBs. You can forget about the days of subbing in the fastest QB regardless of accuracy because accuracy definitely matters now. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady now feel elite (the AI versions will really tear you up this year) while lower rated QBs can really struggle at times.

Better gameplay on the field is all im worried about. Not pre, post, or halftime shows. Revamped AI and better set of sliders that allow us to have more control of our experience with the game. Still waiting for some actual gameplay

Can we please get Cam Newton a smaller flak jacket. I can't go another year with Cam and Vick wearing inner tubes around their mid sections.

OS: Will we see more jostling for position/hand fighting from the offensive and defensive players on pass plays?

RD: Due to the impact of the overhauled coverage AI, you will see defenders in much better position to make plays on balls. This includes jostling for position and aggressively moving towards the catch point. We definitely have some major plans around WR/DB interaction coming in the near future in addition to the great work that has been done this year.

What does this mean? Is wr/db interaction in the game or not?

Nothing about a new injury system in this year so we r still going to see the same stuff and injuries wont matter.

The pass accuracy stuff is probably the most exciting thing, for me. That's an issue that has plagued this series for as long as I can remember, and has a substantially negative impact on the game.

There's some hope here and flashes of promise, I'm going to break this article down and actually see what's put into play and what's not when the game drops in August..

Everything sounds good for the most part. Great questions by the interviewer. A few disappointments that stood out were no CUSTOM CAM this year, didn't mention any NEW CATCHING ANIMATIONS, & it sounds like they didn't expand on DB/WR INTERACTIONS. I'm also disappointed that he didn't mention anything about running animations. Madden desperately needs SIGNATURE RUNNING ANIMATIONS / BALL CARRYING STYLES so that all players don't feel the same. Looking forward to seeing game in action.

It means WR/DBs will probably play the ball smarter but that overhaul we want in the interactions are not in this version.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Would have enjoyed a question on whether the precision modifier is making a return in 15. And if so, will it be toned down. Dynamic weather would be a nice addition. Maybe a question about the progression system since the XP system in 25 was kind of a nightmare.
