We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
The interviewer should've asked if camera men & people in the crowd will still wear shorts & t-shirts during snow games? I hope they paid attention to detail this time around because things like that really kill the immersion.
Hopefully we can control all 32 teams in one mode instead of having to have 32 different CCM's. And hopefully we could edit the uniforms of the computer controlled teams.
Sad to see no highlights from other games during halftime, but from what they are saying it sounds like a real pre game and halftime show with commentary instead of a basic highlight package which I am a fan of.
And I know myself and DJ have asked for a reverse defensive camera for years and sounds like it might have finally made it's way to Madden.
I'm definitely excited about the Player-Lock camera for defense finally being in Madden.
Always eager to hear about madden, more now being this is the only football game out. That being said, what about draft classes, roster editing, and expansion? The NFL is focusing on expanding overseas, is this intended to be played for 1 year or as long as the consumer likes? This is the issue. They make these games not looking to produce the best ever, they produce the game looking at improving and adding something next year, which shows they are selling hype.
They didn't mention gameplay, and he wasn't even asked about it. He mentioned Non static pure play players, but the main issue every year is feel, not look.
I want to know during my dynasty, I can follow the next class of players set to enter the draft, then at years end draft the players with real names.. If that means changing the name of the generic players so be it.
This is the lack of creativity. Team builder would be great here to create a spreadsheet of the projected draftees, upload them prior to the season, and scout them. We do this in 2k, and NCAA college football.
I would go on the cleats but that's another story.

"OS: Will we see more jostling for position/hand fighting from the offensive and defensive players on pass plays?
RD: Due to the impact of the overhauled coverage AI, you will see defenders in much better position to make plays on balls. This includes jostling for position and aggressively moving towards the catch point. We definitely have some major plans around WR/DB interaction coming in the near future in addition to the great work that has been done this year."
I am anxiously hoping that this means pass interference fellas. I literally love all the stuff this guy says...but I will be mad as junk if we keep doing this penalty and slider reverse dance.
"Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"
" Im just a big hairy american winning machine"

Would be nice if they put CPU vs. CPU back in the offline franchise mode as well.
yeah, so hard to judge. Everything 'sounds' great. They obviously worked 'hard' on defense, and he makes mentions of some important legacy issues like QB accuracy and WR/DB interactions. I like the defensive camera thing and this will be cool to see implemented, if done correctly. And, as much as I want to refrain from mentioning 2k5, it's tough. 2k5 implemented an in player cam that worked similarly to this defensive camera, and they had a fully working halftime show. All done on the Xbox, not Xbox 360, the original Xbox. So, it's just always tough to be fired up about things that were available what, 10 years ago? On an inferior platform? But, overall, I am legitimately looking forward to playing Madden 15. I'm happy about what is said in this interview, and I enjoyed the E3 vid stuff about Madden. Although, nothing is good to go until you see someone actually playing the game to see if these things have been implemented correctly, so that remains to be seen. I am looking forward to playing it, though.

I probably could just copy and paste what I'm about to say in every thread popping up about Madden 15.
The improvements sound great and are much needed, hopefully the execution is done well, along with being balanced well by the last patch.
That said, I just wonder at what point Madden will finally be a reasonably complete football game. What I mean is for every improvement I read about and I'm so happy to finally see added, I can't help but think about the things that are still missing, that have been in past football games, including past Maddens, on inferior hardware. I won't even bother using some poor analogy or posting some long list because I'm sure anyone that's been around awhile understands what I mean. I really would just like to enjoy Madden and get my football fix but those missing elements consistently destroy my immersion, making it harder for me to overlook even the understandable flaws.
To end this post on a positive note, hopefully the new upgraded broadcast presentation elements help me forget I'm playing a video game. I strongly believe realistically done broadcast presentation can help distract from some video game shortcomings.
