This is a VERY bad sign of things to come, imo.

Just 4 years ago, at E3 2010... 2K had a TON of media coverage for NBA 2K11.

Including....
- Announcements
- Game Previews
- Special Offers
- 'Hands-on' Demos
- Developer Diaries
- Tons of Gameplay Footage
- Numerous 'Gameplay Mechanics' Videos
- Interviews with various 2K staff
- Q&A Sessions

Practically EVERY gaming website I visited had something to say about 2K11 @ E3.
Everywhere I turned there were videos of gameplay footage & staff interviews, articles & 'feature lists' DURING E3.

THE 2K 'HYPE MACHINE' WAS ON FULL TILT, BACK THEN.

So, where is all this stuff....... THIS year? in 2014?

The only thing I saw on the E3 2014 schedule was...

- The 'Finals' of the 2K14 Tournament (scheduled for Wednesday, at 4pm)
- Just ONE 'Most Valuable Players' trailer for NBA 2K15 (that dropped last week)
- And 1 lousy 'Locker Code' posted on Twitter (that was useful for about a whole 10 minutes)

Hey 2K... WTF?
C'mon son.

E3 is the BIGGEST event of the ENTIRE GAMING INDUSTRY!!! (EVERY YEAR)

Tell us exactly....

• What are WE supposed to look forward to??
• Where's all the 2k15 gameplay footage posted??
• What will the presentation & menu screens look like, at least??
• Where's all the 'first impressions' videos?
• Where's the 'list of new features' hiding??
• Where's all the OFFICIAL YouTube links for 2K15 info??
• Where's the press conference videos at??
• Where's the Q&A session videos hiding??
• What bugs have been FIXED??
• Are you changing the 'controls' again??
• What 'modes' will be included this year??
• Association mode?? Crew?? Lobbies?? MyPlayer??
• Will CAP tools return this year??
• Or will it just be 25 (pre-made) faces instead of 23???
• Are you making ANY effort (at all) to upgrade your servers, this year??
• What are you working on??
• What are you ADDING?? OR GETTING RID OF??
• What will be DIFFERENT in 2K15??
• WHAT CAN WE EXPECT???????

These are questions that EVERYONE wants to know at E3... more than ANY other time of the whole year. Do Tell.

Everybody Try this..... Do a search on both Google & YouTube. (Keywords: NBA 2k15, E3 2014)
And see what videos & information pops-up that came DIRECTLY from 2K.

Just 1 video trailer. That's it.

Where's the annual E3 BUZZ about the 2K NBA series??

2K developers been working on NBA 2K15 for over 8+ months, so far.... now there's 4 months left before 'launch day' and they have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL to show us, or tell us at E3??

This is pathetic.

Its crazy how we got almost nothing of value with the information they sold us. Live has sent in game screenshots already and they look damn great as well! 2k gotta step it up cause they look like they are gonna lose a lot of customers this year

The KD MVP pack or whatever, mentions that you get 5,000 VC if you pre-order. Telling me that VC is still in the game.



I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really hope EA knocks NBA Live out of the park this year. Having options is always better than not having them.

But that was clearly 2K14 video and it even marks that at the bottom when the video plays.

So, we really have seen nothing on 2K15. But there are still how many days left in E3. I am sue IGN will have something...

Haven't some of you guys (collectively) been saying you don't want the HYPE since you felt so betrayed by the game last year? lol

In all seriousness, there's so much more hostility on the boards than there was even a few years ago. Gone are the days when the hardcore gaming community was more understanding of a game in it's early stages - immediately people begin ripping games apart, so it's likely not in the developer's best interests to show the games unless they have to.

I prefer less information this time of year. I get the feeling that if 2K isn't hyping the game like crazy, then they feel good about the quality of their product (meaning they don't have to hype it because the quality of the game will speak for itself upon release).

Of course, that's just hope on my part though.

Difference between now and 2010 is EA made Live a viable competitor then. 2K knew 2K10 was a dud and had to bounce back. Its nothing like that at the moment.

Bought it on PS3, sold it a few weeks later. Upgraded to PS4. Never bought it for PS4. Did play it but the overbearing insistence on microtransactions/online roster saves/litany of other issues pissed me off too much.

I predicted it, this year will be the start of 2K's downfall. We haven't gotten any news whatsoever except for a bonus pack which included the one thing people cannot stand about 2K today, VC. I know it sounds like I'm overreacting with the whole 'downfall' scheme, but just remember what I said. I can't remember a year from 2K as quiet as this one, and its coming off of one of the worst installments of 2K history.
