I almost wish in 06' EA never scrapped the old engine. For whatever reason, I always felt the PS2 running animations looked smoother than they do now. They are doing a great job with the game, but I feel like the foundation is flawed. It's like when someone keeps repairing their broken car, getting new paint jobs and putting rims on, instead of buying a new one.
