Griffin looks fantastic. They all do, but the Griffin shot is uncanny.

Nice stills! The detail in the faces is spectacular.

I need to see full models. I remember Live's shorts being terrible. And the jerseys look pretty bad in these.

I haven't played Live in years though. But I'm interested in seeing some gameplay footage after seeing these.

With these screenshots, NHL announcing NBC broadcasting, and Madden looking sharp, it looks like I will be buying Live this year. 2K is sticking with the VC, which is why I traded in 2K and got Live this previous season. Here's to hoping that the gameplay can be smooth.

Got to say i am impreased and suprised has this look just about has good has nba 2k14 faces and i am still suprised how good nba 2k14 looks and nba live 14 didnt look that good and normaly the only time you see a big upgrade in a sports game is when they go form a old system to a new system but on a yearly basics the improvments are normaly pretty small in grapchis but i did hear that mlb 07-08 on ps3 had a stagerling jump and that looks to be the case with this game.

Why is everyone so impressed with the spacing in live? It's unrealistic IMHO

Because there is actually space on the court to do things compared to the other game. It may not be 100% accurate, but it does the best representation of proper spacing in a videogame.

Look good, but I can't go on the hype train until I see gameplay this time.

You go play 2k and see how clogged the floor is. Almost every play players are pretty much hugging one another. I pray Live improves drastically this year because I need another option in a basketball game.

Live's spacing is legit from a visual standpoint.

but IMO, The lack of teamate movement, the slow, unreliable nature of passing and the defenses reaction (or lack therof) makes it feel like like it's cramped regardless.

I'm confident they will touch this up though, as a dev agreed with me when I messaged them about it.

                          This.

The spacing is there, and it's on point. I think that is one thing Live has always done well is their player size to court ratio. Now it's just getting the players to behave properly in that space.

I wouldn't say it feels cramped . It does make the offense feel stagnant though . It's more of lack of activity on the floor issue

Stagnant is probably a better word.

Like 13 said, the player size\court ratio is top notch...at this point they just need to correct how players interact within that space. You can see glimpses on how much of a benefit that space can really be..

This is becoming relatively off topic, but just wanted to ask your guys' thoughts on the player speed. I may create a new thread on this. Do you think that the players as a whole need to be sped up when they're sprinting, and running a set play? I was thinking about how much better this would make that space that Live gives, if the guys were hustling to their spots. If the players are moving more quickly, the more of an "oh crap" moment you'll have on Defense when Lebron has you 1 on 1 on the wing with the opposite side overloaded. With his speed and agility, you "should" get the feeling that he's going to go to work on you.
