Has anyone noticed the pre-play fidgets now?

Has anyone noticed how the players communicate to each other now with signals and stuff before the play? There's one video out there where the RG looks back at the QB to snap the ball as the clock winds down. Not a back of the box feature but these are still cool to see and to my knowledge are a first for football gaming.

Here's Desean Jackson signaling on left side of the screen

    At 4:02 watch the RG

Everyone should be happy that Madden is actually starting to do some of the little things. The actually are putting an effort into attention to detail now. This little things are what make FIFA and NBA 2K look so organic.

Very nice and glad to see a positive thread for a change. I feel like a lot of work was put into 15.

Exactly, I was watching the FIFA 15 demo and a guy scores a goal celebrates, then mid celebration looks over to see the ref called offsides and mid celebration he gets dejected and upset at the ref, amazing and I hope that happens in Madden very soon.

That FIFA demo was veryyyy impressive. Just hoping Madden follows in its footsteps. My favorite was when they showed the yellow card scene. Imagine a PI call like that in Madden with the WR and DB jaw'ing back and forth in each others faces. Then the ref calls it on one of them and the other guy claps as he walks away.

In whole I'm in favor of this, but some of the OL fidgets I saw would be flagged as false starts in the NFL. I think some discretion might serve well going forward, but overall a positive development yes.

That would be a false start in real life all day, every day with those offensive lineman moving like that pre-snap. I can't believe Clint Odenburg who was a NFL lineman OK'ed this.

He's not raising his right arm up off ground or making a sudden move back etc.. he simply turns and moves his left arm. (Unless I'm looking at the wrong clip)

"No interior lineman may move abruptly after taking or simulating a three-point stance"
Think that means no sudden/fast moves.

look at 00:40 Not exactly the same but if what we see in Madden is a false start that should be also.

Here's the answer from the source

@jpdavis1982: @ClintOldenburg In this video at 4:02 when the RG looks back at QB to snap the ball, is that a false start or no? http://t.co/tuD8QLBI2E

@ClintOldenburg: @jpdavis1982 no way. That would never get called. Happens all the time.

I agree. Linemen move a lot as long as they're not simulating a move that would indicate the snap of the ball. It's when they rock back to get a jump on pass blocking or suddenly flinch where it becomes a false start.

Obviously it's a bit more in depth than my simplified explanation, but I didn't see anything in the madden vids that would indicate false start

Definitely a good addition. I would like to see more pre-snap movement from the defense. I remember reading something about defenses disguising their coverages.. I don't think I've seen that shown much in these videos. Not sure if that is in the same realm as these "fidgets" though

I saw Kaepernick reach up and grab his mouthpiece from his helmet after breaking the huddle in one of the videos and I thought that was cool.
