Majority: Like split, but the dissenting judge called it a draw. Happens much more often in the game than it does in real life.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
dev, could it be possible to say, have to different control schemes, where there is the one for how it is now, where people who dont know what to do can still button mash out of situations, and one where it can be set for advanced, persay where every controller input has an action, and the effectiveness of that action is based off stam/rating/timing?
I like the thought of not being able to transition from defensive ground positions every second, because thats when it feels REALY arcadey, but i also would like to be able to throw a hard transition using alot of effort, or if i am low on stamina to just do something to give the top player/ai something to counter-think about instead of me just laying there like a dead fish.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
But now i want to know, does the judge in the game only give out score of 10 for winning and 9 for losing.....or do they give out 7 and 8 for losing as well? For example, if i was totally being dominated, does the judge give out the score of 7 or 8 and not just always 9 for losing?Last edited by reptilexcq; 06-20-2014, 10:26 AM.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
Ok, I understand now. I was thinking total scores by each round and not by total score for all the rounds by each judges. So when it says "unanimous," i was thinking I must have dominated all rounds. So when i look at the stats sheet, i don't think i dominated one of the rounds lol. Now, i realize that even if i lose one of the 3 rounds, the decision can still be unanimous in favor for me.

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
Well, if the judges give out scores of 8 or 7 for losing as they do in real life, then this mean that even if you're winning the first two rounds with a 10-9 from all judges....you may still end up losing if you play horrible on the third round w/ all judges giving you 10-7. So it's good to know that winning the first two rounds does not really guaranteed winning and it really depends on how dominant or how badly you play in every round.Comment

Even rounds in real life that were clear domination such as round one of Edgar/Maynard II or the last round of Shogun/Henderson 1 were 10-8's.Last edited by JoeMimic; 06-20-2014, 03:33 AM.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
I won a decision as Clay Guida earlier over Ricardo Lamas on Normal difficulty with accel clock 50-45. Is it actually possible to stop someone with elbows on the ground? There were a few times in the fight where I had full mount and I postured up and dropped 5-6 clean elbows and I couldn't get it stopped.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
Online - Not being able to see who we're fighting is bad enough, but I refuse to compete in ranked matches until we receive wins for opponents quitting the match. It will end up being a complete was a time. I think I'll just stick to unranked for the time being.
Career - I really like the video packages they put together for TUF, specific fighters and moments in a fighter's career. They're really well done. One thing that really degrades the experience is fighting the same guys over and over again, which was a problem to be expected. I think I fought Anderson Silva three time in a row in title fights, and he was well into his 40s by that time.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
The quitting is out of control in championships right now. I am stuck at blue belt on xb1 because 3 out of 4 fights. Immature punks who can't take a loss, quit as soon as the submission is locked in and the fight doesn't register, they may get a DNF and a loss, but where is my win I earned. Is this on your end GameplayDev, or do you have to ask someone else at the studio. This is beyond frustrating right now. No reason wins shouldn't be given against a quitter. Due to random opponents its not like someone could defraud the leaderboards due to quitting with a dummy account.
include yournaments in that too.Last edited by ManiacMatt1782; 06-20-2014, 09:49 AM.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
Good to know it's possible. I thought I was doing a pretty good job of mixing up my strikes. I was sure I was going to stop him several times. I did escape several submission attempts throughout the fight which was nice and added some drama.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC Available Now, Post Your Impressions
One thing I notice is that with online you can't "ninja" pick your fighter. With FNC many would give the impression they were going with a average fighter then quickly pick Isaac Frost and you couldn't stop it.
With UFC once your opponent chooses, even if you have already chosen, you have to ready up again. That is with unrankedBeing kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment
