But you the have the option to play CFM offline. As a single user. highlights could be only viewed in that mode as they currently do with some other presentation aspects. They could also just have scores and stats in the online version

if you honestly look at both these madden halftime shows and not take into consideration the gameplay graphics can you tell which one is the for 15 and which one is for 10.

Yes because 10 doesn't have any audio explaining the highlights

Besides the audio, which is pretty poorly implemented in 15. 10 has player updates, other scores, an actual studio host, better variations of plays

and 10 talks about your halftime stats.

It was a much better 1st attempt, in my opinion

The audio sounds fine, they just have to clean up the timing and not leave the spaces of silence between stats & highlights, then between plays.

Correct. That is why it's poorly implemented.

Not sure how you can say its fine and then say they have to clean it up. It's choppy, not well timed, and has awkward silence.

There's only a slight problem. The article you linked to does not say the writer actually saw the "play that set up a play" example. Just that that is what is supposed to be in the game. Likely just repeating what he was told by a dev.

"They not only include a couple of big plays, but plays that set up those big plays as well. For example, you will see a replay of a third down defensive stand if that led to a touchdown during the offensive possession."

So again, why do you continue to post stuff like this as fact when EA is known to blatantly false advertise features? Don't take their word for it. You need to see these things in action. Talk is cheap.

I'm expecting it to sound a lot cleaner in the final build, I have confidence in Brian Murray because every other area of M15 presentation looks MUCH improved.

Did you watch the video? He gives a specific example he saw while playing it at E3. The article is from a guy with 20+ hours with the game and the example he gave came from his time with the game.

They basically say the same thing the article does about talking about their drives. Their exact example they said they saw showed a pick 6. They never specifically say they saw all these things.

I would like to see another video of the halftime show showing these features before I believe. If they so have it, great. It's a start, but it needs to have more immersion.

In the video with Sim he specifically talks about how the Steelers got a stop on 3rd down and didn't get a TD but did get a FG.

He said that was an example of how it would work..He didnt specifically say he saw it like he said about the INT Return for a TD.

He actually said him and and his friend were playing in a close defensive game and at halftime and it showed a pick 6 by polamalu.

His comment about the fumble recovery, sounded more like that was something he was told would happen...Go back and listen to it word for word. He never said he heard it say that

JP the sound will most likely not improve much at all. Commentary is part of presentation, but from a design perspective, it is entirely its own beast. just because the presentation is in fact much improved, the commentary may still be downright terrible. Based on what ive heard thus far, i would prefer for there not to be a halftime show this year, and get it ready for next year. The lines themselves sound good, but there just isn't enough content to avoid those moments of prolonged silence. it would be a pleasant surprise if audio is significantly better, but at this point in development, i would seriously doubt it.

Prob because every other game that has done gamebreaks showing video has been a copy and paste team on a pre rendered play. People forget 2k was the same..don't know how many times I saw Vick pass with his right hand or the fact that if I played every game that week no video would be shown. Still it has to be some way they can do it now..With this whole cloud junk and more resources talk..it was like that for genesis also so all this time nobody thought of a better way..wow!
