This was the one friendly that Sydney expected to win, but it didn't quite go as planned. UC Dublin's football club was out for the victory at home, and played extremely well for the majority of the game. Douglas put them on the board early, and Russell scored what looked to be the knockout punch in the 66th minute. Then the Ocho showed up.
In the 78th minute, Ocho Ocho shocked everyone when he dished the ball to Del Piero instead of taking the shot. It worked out well, as he picked up his first assist in the Sydney kit. Not to be outdone, Ocho took a long distance shot that fit perfectly into the upper corner to tie the game up in the 88th minute of the match.
The surprise signing has done well for the team, scoring 3 goals and adding an assist in the two friendlies so far. He's played a part in every score except for one.
Goals: 1 (88'), Assists: 1, Shots on Target/Total: 6/10, Passing: 75%, Match Rating: 6.8
