The full game is definitely better than the demo in terms of AI, but some fighters still just come forward and throw, throw, throw.
I had a nice online fight against a fairly sim-style player with Frank Mir vs Cormier. It went to decision and I lost, probably due to not accounting for the slight lag on takedowns.
Managed to win my first two TUF fights as well. I do like the way they've presented that mode so far.
The only thing I want to know is where to enter my Bruce Lee code as it said it was invalid on PSN.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

I am having a really hard time learning this game.
Transitions for me are nearly impossible to block and if I block one I am guaranteed not to block the next
Stamina is a mystery to me. I keep it full but spammers seem to all ways beat me
stand up I get rocked with full stamina or have some one spam body shots all day. I do parry them but they just parry my counters and go back to kicks.
I just feel the learning curve is to steep to get good. I think I have a better chance of getting a real BJJ blackbeltComment

Yeah I don't have an issue with people fighting aggressively but if it doesn't work it should be punished.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

If they parry your counter, counter differently. My favorite counter is a body knee or kick, because everyone looks to protect their head. Get a couple good hard counters to the body, and the head will open up.
Also sidestep counters work miracles on body spammers, especially if your fighter has the crushing blows ability.Comment

I have been playing EA UFC on Xbox One since release day. I am an offline player that likes to create a guy that looks like me and dive into career. Since Gameface does not work-I had to scrap that idea. I went ahead and used Bruce Lee as a welterweight.
The issues I have had after 25 fights in my career with a record of 21-4 are the following:
1. Not fighting actual guys in the UFC. In 25 fights, I have yet to fight a guy in the UFC. All random generated guys. That is extremely disappointing considering I am currently ranked 6th.
2. The stamina issues which have already been discussed in previous posts.
3. The fact that I can't stuff takedowns especially the power takedowns is extremely frustrating.
4. The reversals from full guard to the CPU's full mount is ridiculous!
5. The referee stepping in and standing us up way too early when I am clearly throwing punches and knees from side control.
6. The training partners can make no sense at all. I had Junior Dos Santos show up at my camp. I had to fight Junior Dos Santos as a welterweight in training. A welterweight vs a Heavyweight makes no sense at all.
7. No ring entrances unless it's a championship fight is extremely disappointing. We should have varying levels of entrances.
8. The customization options are minimal.
9. All of my opponents are HUGE! Every guy I have fought as a welterweight is between 5'10" and 6'3" tall. Not sure if it's because I am 5'7" Bruce Lee but the opponents really feel too tall for the weight class I am in. I am at a reach disadvantage in every fight I'm in. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
10. Not seeing much differences between how opponents fight. They should try and fight to their strengths and I'm just not seeing that. Would love to see this moving forward.
11. As stated before, the constant aggression from the AI with little or no stamina effect is extremely annoying.
My final thoughts are that this game needs several patches to try and satisfy the hardcore community. I understand they are trying to appeal to a casual audience but if you don't appease the hardcore which are the guys that will buy it on day one then you will never get the casuals.
Hopefully the patches can fix some of these issues to make this game enjoyable until the next one comes out in 18-24 months.I think it is crucial that EA support this game as much as possible in order to keep the community on their side for their next release.
Overall the game has a lot of potential but the arcade direction needs to be corrected in order for the hardcore to back this game. It's not too late for that in my opinion.Comment

I've tried on 3 separate occasions, and I just can't enjoy this game.
I've played career, and succeeded. I'm succeeding online, even got to my purple belt. The lack of realism just absolutely kills this game for me.Comment
