I hate the idea of putting the Bearcats in the Big XII, they're to far north. It's supposed to be a southern conference.

You do realize that Cincinnati is further south than Morgantown, right?

Doesn't make even the slightest bit of sense. It's not a southern conference. It's a middle america conference. It was started with Nebraska and Missouri and Iowa State and Colorado and the Oklahoma and Texas schools. That's not southern. Nebraska and Missouri and Colorado may have moved on, but it's still not southern.

This is all irrelevant anyway as they seem to have zero interest in expansion until someone forces them to play by the same rules as everyone else.

Have I mentioned how much I hate all of this expansion crap? UC and UCF in the Big 12?

To be fair, unless they get forced to get a championship like the other major conferences, I don't see them expanding of their own volition.

I wish OU would have gone to the Pac-12 a few years ago.

I would be more tempted to goto an way game if I had the choice of Tempe or LA over Ames, Iowa or Manhattan, Kansas.

Until there's a compelling financial reason to expand, the Big XII won't be adding anyone. The biggest mistake the Big XII made was not taking Louisville to make it 11 not long ago. At that point, adding Cincy for a smooth 12 would've made sense. Financially though, Cincy or UCF do nothing but add mouths to feed.

I doubt any new teams are added into the Big XII until the future structures of college athletics are ironed out, which will take a couple of years. Given the GOR is through 2024-ish (someone correct me on the exact date), there's no way the Big XII schools feel pressure to move with record revenues/splits year after year.

                    Exactly.

Louisville would have been a great get but it didn't happen. I don't see the Big 12 expanding anytime soon.
