I have been asking EA Madden Devs and Madden Game Changers via Twitter this related question for the last seven days and am yet to hear back from any of them.

I have looked to no avail for evidence of the heat-seeker tackles in all the M15 vids I have seen albeit I do have confirmation that you can still perform hitsticks w the right stick.

I am an opponent of the heat-seeker and am in favor of the agressive vs conservative cone context of tackles.

The LT/L2 is a precision modifier so who knows: maybe it will have a play in "bearing down" to perform precise tackles in conjunction with the face buttons for aggressive and conservative tackles.
