Any idea whether NBA 2k 15 will have multi-team control?

I skipped buying a PS4 early because I read that NBA 2k14 on next gen removed 30 team control. That's the only way I can stomach playing an Association (My GM) mode since I have to tweak every team.

I remember reading last year from a dev that they didn't have time to put it in or whatever. I haven't been following the updates to 2K15 but I'm wondering have they said anything else about bringing back this feature?

I think you should stick with the current generation game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 don't spend $400 just for 2k alone to play one mode.

What's wrong with only playing one mode? I've been playing spots games since the 90s, and I generally only play one mode, franchise, association, dynasty, etc. I've been perfectly happy doing that for 15+ years. And doing multi team control nearly as long.

There are other games I'll play on PS4. No Man's Sky, Uncharted 4, The Order, Infamous, Driveclub, Watch Dogs, etc. I'm just waiting until a few more of those games are released before I get a PS4. If 2k has multi team control for 15 then I'll go ahead and get one then.

But since I'm not getting any replies I guess it's safe to assume they haven't hinted one way or the other if multi team control is in.

I wouldnt count on seeing this feature back unless they found a way to make us earn it or buy it using VC. Seeing how 2k14 on next gen was built I have come to grips that everything will be wrapped around VC in some way no matter what.

It's not like the skeleton for that isn't already in the game. Charge VC anytime you want to change rotations and stuff like that. They'd make more charging for 30 times than one.

Kinda sad that that's what 2k has come to, but oh well.

Yea it is sad, but I dont have a problem with VC if it was used in the correct way as in adding additional things to the game, but to use it to unlock features thats been in the game for years is just wrong, and pretty much a slap in the face of loyal customers that bought/supported NBA2k for years.

Exactly how I feel in MyCareer when I have to pay a ton of VC just to put on a home and away headband.

If you can afford it I wouldn't advice against getting a new system.

And that would be extremely disappointing to me, especially considering how I've been a big fan of the series, converting various friends and family members to it since the early 2000's. Sucks that I'd have to give up the series but they are apperently taking things into an online, RPG, single career, type of experience, forcing users to either adapt or get lost. I don't play sports games for online competition or single careers, I like being able to play any game on the schedule, watch cpu vs cpu during playoffs, tweak rosters, rotations, do realistic human guided free agency, drafts, and trades, and record league wide stats.

I realize most don't play like that so 2k is catering to the masses but I just think it sucks that they are taking away basic customization features that offline sim heads have been using for years and years, in favor of the online, RPG stuff.

Man. No NCAA, no 2k. Guess I'll be forced to pick up Madden for the first time in forever.

Man, I hope so. Franchise mode was not the same without multi-team control. That, to me, is the best part of franchise modes, i.e. The Show, Madden.

One thing I saw was the Cavs signed Carmelo in one of my MyGMs and his number was 10. Whoever was 7 was let go and no other player had 7. I wanted to just edit the number, and without control of all teams I was unable to change it. That made me uneasy. I love using VC & don't mind buying them to make the game more fun, but to just edit a player on another team should be in the new game.

I'm totally with the original poster on this subject. If this feature is not present, I will not purchase 2K15. Make or break feature for me.
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!

Me too. I have had every NBA 2k since 2k1 and will probably buy my first NBA Live game since NBA Live 2000 if there's no association in NBA 2k15.

Has anybody heard anything about 2k15 having to always be online this year? To me that's the make or break part of it.

I sold my nba 2k14 next gen after a few months of screwing around with my gm.

I was always an association/season mode guy dating back to nba 2k2. This next gen however ruined the entire experience. I used to mimick the real nba on a console through those modes. With next gen, nothing is available for people like myself. Not even a playoff mode! We can't even do a current playoff mode come playoff time lol I thought next gen was supposed to be a step further/ahead feature wise.... Instead it was a step back... A step back to the Stone Age of gaming... I'm talking sega genesis days (befor 2k was even born) lol I bet even dream cast nba 2k had more USER control!
