They would never do this. People including NFLers would complain "so & so" is rated too low.

But I think that would really separate the Drew Brees' from the Carson Palmers of the NFL.

Robert Quinn is rated too high, in my opinion

last year he was the most dominate DE in the NFL in a long time.

he was robbed of DPOY due to the fact of being on a losing/unpopular team.

not just saying this because I'm a rams fan =]

19 sacks, 7 ff's, 2 fr's, 1 td, all in the best division in football. Only player with more sacks (19.5) and FF's (8) also popped a piss test trying to hide a cycle. That kind of production while consistently losing/playing from behind isn't easy either.

I haven't watched Quinn enough to see how he plays against the run but as a pass rusher he is definitely elite. I wonder what his rating is if your system is a run stopping DE, probably drops a little

What you are saying is all true, but this was his first season of truly being dominant, and i believe that in order for ANY player in madden to be rated that high, they should consistently be dominant on a year-to-year basis, like Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald for example. Quinn should be rated 93 or 94 at most, in my opinion.

If Quinn still plays at a dominant level 3-4 years from now, then he deserves the rating Donny Moore gave him

I don't get this. Madden ratings aren't lifetime achievement awards, if a player is currently great his rating should reflect that. If he is in the decline he shouldn't get a great rating based off prior years.

But Madden has been doing this for years anyway.

What I want to know, is how does Cameron Wake have 95acc? I personally don't think any DE should get that high of a acc rating, but how is he better at accelerating than Clowney, who is a physical freak? Clowney ran a faster 40 yard as well, so that seems strange to me. Hopefully he isn't too OP because when I had a fake rookie in madden25 with similar stats (95 finess and 94 acc); he got a sack on basically any deep route (i got 6-10 sacks a game on All Madden w/ silders to make the comp better)

Funny to me that Cameron Jordan can get such a large bump from one good year but Josh Gordon isn't near the top of WRs after having a record breaking year catching the ball.

Yeah I'm thinking the off the field issues are coming into play here with Hardy and Gordon, because they both were very deserving of top 5 spots. Of course there's always the question whether or not the one year wonder deserves such a high rating. I don't have a problem with it. If they fail the following year, the ratings will reflect that in the next madden game.

Based on just last year, Quinn was deserving of that rating. But of course there are always numerous factors to consider. I still think this is another really solid list overall. I'm curious as to what they give Tuck since he had a nice bounce back year(not expecting anything crazy either).
