I don't think Microsoft paid as much as everyone thinks. EA and Microsoft have been buddy buddy for years and with Play Station trying to launch there gaming service it probably didn't make sense to try to compete for people's cash when the other system has nothing Like that going on.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
And now I don't care if the PS4 gets it or not, as I will not be buying.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
For a limited time. No way they give 5 days unlimited access for games like Dragon Age or Mirrors Edge where people could legit beat them in 5 days and simply not buy the game when they release.
Like I said, great if you buy 5 Digital EA games a year, negligible if not.Comment

I know but they need to set a concrete number. I would like them to at least go Five Days; Five Hours; Five Dollars.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
If it was unlimited access for 5 days, why in the world would they even mention "at least 2 hours"??
Unless its at least 2 hours per day.
My guess is it will be similar to the timed trials that are included with the PSN Plus where you get 60 minutes to play the full game once you start.Last edited by countryboy; 07-29-2014, 02:01 PM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
Two different features of EA Access...
The Vault - unlimited access to older games
Play First - trial/early access to newer games not included in the service
per Major Nelson
I'm sure there will be some clarification on the 2 hour "rule", but realize it only applies to Play First titles.Play First: EA Access members will get to experience trials of new EA games early on Xbox One. Starting 5 days before release, you’ll be able to try the game for at least two hours and then save your progress. Once you purchase the digital or physical copy, you can use your save game and continue the experience.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
Because it may not be unlimited for all games like Dragon Age. Also the only thing that mentions 2 hrs is Major Nelson's post. The EA website doesnt mention it. The press release doesnt. They just mention limited time.If it was unlimited access for 5 days, why in the world would they even mention "at least 2 hours"??

I'll just pay 4.99 for August. If its a limited amount of time for Madden, I'll cancel it. If its unlimited like their old system was I will pay the 30 bucks.Comment
