Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
PS Now will never be 'the entire catalog' due to various licensing difficulties.
EA Access or not PS Now is probably going to struggle at current pricing. Really not the thread for that discussion though.Comment

Nostalgia?
Anyways the service is for EA games, not just the sport selection.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
I don't buy them all, and I buy madden digitally so 10% off (which edges digital a little closer to day-1 retail deals) pays for almost 3 months of EA Access as well as providing early access to games I wouldnt normally try (the other sports games) and the program is for more than just sports games.
Oh, and the growing collection of free games in the vault, which even at $5 to try the service is a bargain if there's 1-2 you want to try. That's the obvious value comparison to Sony's PS Now rental service that they don't want people to be making.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
Sony's passing on the EA Access really doesn't bother me at this point, at least after the preliminary information that the early release games may be subject to a limited time trial.
If it turns out the sports games in particular are unlimited access then I will be upsetI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

From some of the tweets I've stumbled across, I'm interpreting that the sports titles will be unlimited and single player games will have a 2 hour window.Sony's passing on the EA Access really doesn't bother me at this point, at least after the preliminary information that the early release games may be subject to a limited time trial.

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
To everyone looking to join the xbox early preview program, it was something offered by Microsoft and SELECTED BY MICROSOFT. So, u can't sign up for it. Microsoft sent invites to select users.
Beginning today, Microsoft begins inviting "select" Xbox Live members to preview features before they become publicly available.
So, if u didn't get invited, u probably never will.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
I would be stunned if the Sports games were not full access except for MUTSony's passing on the EA Access really doesn't bother me at this point, at least after the preliminary information that the early release games may be subject to a limited time trial.

Just like it was for Season Ticket last gen.
The 2 hour thing is only for story driven game that you cannot get full access for 5 days because you can beat the game.
Sports games has no issue like that.Comment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
Why is it funny? EA did not say no to PS4...This is not an exclusive thing to MS
Sony said no because they are afraid it will cut into their PS Now sales. That is the only reason behind this.
EA would love to have PS players as well. But Sony throws out this bogus not good value for gamer like they want to speak for you when in reality they should have said.
We do not want to or have the means to pay EA for this and it would hurt our PS Now service which is terribly priced right now.Comment

With Sony passing, I wonder if that ruffled some feathers at EA? Will XBO start getting more exclusives, will they develop on One first and port to PS4?Last edited by Brandwin; 07-30-2014, 08:33 AM.Comment

You never know I've had season ticket and on the site it tells you what time it expires with this they have yet to clarify it. People are asking them and they have yet to give a straight up answer which they won't because they want to sell as many subscription possible.I would be stunned if the Sports games were not full access except for MUT
