This sounds like anamazing deal, and I can't wait to check it out!
Speaking of deals...I don't want to go all "Breaking Bad / Walter White" here, but could someone possibly hook me up with the goods & an invite? Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
If its a limited time trial as it may be, then no it isn't awesome to pay $5 for a trial run.I am stunned anyone would view this as a negative. EVERY YEAR there are threads that come up specifically for where people can find a game early. Cats on this board will drive cross town and in some cases cross state lines to get games early. Gas aint cheap! Some members will overnight games bought on ebay just to get them early.
But EA gives access to a game 5 days early and it's not awesome for $5?

Yea this has been known since last night. Dumb move by Sony regardless of who defends them in this. For those who think this was exclusive......Sony actually passed up on the idea.

No, I understand you get more than just the early release, such as the vault and the discounts, but I'm not interested in playing old titles nor do I like to pay a fee to get a discount.
Look, I get there are people who think its a great deal and it is for those who will use everything or use whatever they feel its worth, but for me, at this point with what I know, it wouldn't be.

But it won't be. SMH. But even if it is [and it won't be] I have been playing and enjoying the HECK out of my copy of FIFA 14. That game is still almost full price retail. So $30 well spent.
And with due respect...gaming isn't charity. It cost money. I didn't spend $500 on a new system to complain about a $5 charge. I blow $5 for a snack every day. Even if it is a timed trial [and it won't be] money still well spent.

sooo what you're saying is if I owned an xbox one, and I paid EA 30 bucks a year, I can play demos of games a few days early? and have access to a "vault" which puts the effort in to seem like a free service, but doesn't expressly state it's free, which generally in lawyer speak / corporate fine print speak, means you're paying for it and it's not free.
glad I've got Sony and PS4. frankly I don't care enough about demos to pay for the privilege of playing them. good luck with that EA/XboxComment

Re: EA Access for Xbox One: Play EA Games Up to Five Days Before the Release Date
At this point no one knows what the access will be for the early release. They have yet to say that the sports titles will be full access and not a timed trial. It may very well not be a timed trial, and for those who will be taking advantage of this, I hope that is indeed the case. But it won't be. SMH. But even if it is [and it won't be] I have been playing and enjoying the HECK out of my copy of FIFA 14. That game is still almost full price retail. So $30 well spent.

As I said in a different post, for me the only reason I would purchase this is for the early access to games, that's it. And based on what I know, even though I don't own the Xbox One, I wouldn't take advantage of this offer. Not for me.
And yes I realize that gaming isn't charity and that it costs money. I'm well aware...LOL.
