    New MyGM layout with more news and rumors.

    All of the NBA's actual Salary rules (exceptions, sign and trades, cash considerations, amnesty ect.)

    Free Agency recruiting.. It shouldn't be easy to get free agents, location and winning should matter not just who has the most salary space. It would be cool to have what NCAA had with recruiting such as the phone calls and pitches you could make to the players.

    30 team control for obvious reasons..

    Trading during the offseason shouldn't be turned off. It isn't cut off irl so it shouldn't be in the game.

    More interaction with players and staff.

        Presentation The commentary for this game is good no doubt but it's getting old. They need to either improve what they have or get a whole different team. It would be nice to see a new team for marquee match ups and hire some actors for local / non important games.

        Attendance need to affect the crowds more. If there is a crappy team who don't have die hard fans like NYN then those games should be almost empty. I swear every game I play is hype like the finals when the game opens up.

        Also, there needs to be some analyzing of 1st half action like mistakes and whats being done right or wrong that need to be corrected with some type of on screen graphics pointing out where the defender should have been on a play etc..... and likewise at the end of the game pointing out what the losing team did wrong and winning team did right.


        I'll leave it at this because only so much can be done in 8-10 months.


        Features

        The D league has to come back PERIOD but not just cosmetically. And you shouldn't be able to just get a person better by sending him down. This should only yield minimum improvements like maybe 1/4 of a attribute point a week. You should be rewarded for actually playing the D League game and you should have to player lock the player you want to improve. This should yield 1/2 point a week but with the possibility of loosing points if the goal you choose isn't met. This way a player has the chance of getting better AND worse or stagnant. Also, the 1/4 or 1/2 point will limit people developing way too fast. 1/2 point will give you 2 points a month which you can spend how you like.

        There needs to be a Summer League as well to try out new rookies and unsigned/undrafted talent before the season starts with the same kind of reward system mentioned in the D League.

        Injuries need to be handled a little differently. There should be a rehab feature that allows you to try and bring you player back ahead of schedule. There should be tasks you have to complete to shave off time which the difficulty of the tasks are based on the ratings of the trainers. If you do not get a certain score there should be the risk of prolonging the injury. This way its a gamble. Is it worth trying to get your star player back in time for the playoffs or should you just wait till next yr.

        Player Attitudes should affect teams and organization more realistically. For instance, if you have a player upset about his contract or playing time, late for practice or whatever and he is the type to cause problems in the media etc then this should affect the rest of the players ratings. They should take more of a hit if you start/play him and less if you keep him around on the bench. This way you will have to make decisions do you keep the player around because of his talents or release him to free agency or trade him for the sake of the team.

        Technical Fouls need to be in the game for more than infractions. For instance if you think a bad foul call is made you should be able to argue the call during the break in action which will fire your player up and give him a temporary 1.5 min stat boost. But this should be a gamble which may result in a tech instead. There should be some type of badge that help dictate the likelihood of the tech. For people like Lebron it would rarely result in a tech but people like Lance Stephenson or D. Cousins it would.

        Coaches and Staff should be awarded or penalized due to what rehab success or failure they had. Or for coaches, how they handled those players with attitudes and the teams records etc. And this should in turn boost players ratings somewhat for success but dramatically for failure so that coaching changes will have more meaning. If my star player is taking a hit on his ratings because of the head hancho then he HAS TO GO! If they are getting somewhat better then of course I would want him to stay. The reason success would yield less is so that ratings wont go through roof so easy. Maybe only like a Popavich , Thibodeau etc would boost a little more.

        I know these things are far fetched but without these types of variables certain aspects of the game just aren't relevant. I have never fired a coach because its MY play that dictates if we win or not. In free agency I go by numbers not personalities or anything else. There is no difference in a 85 Lance Stephenson or 85 Shane Battier and there should be.

        Modes should include the current MY Player but with more realistic representation of what a player goes through like FREE AGENCY. There should be an online tournament mode (one and done format). You should be able to play co-op online as well. You should be able to choose playoffs or finals in exhibition.


        Some animations need to be either taken out or improved. Like the interrupted pass queue. Why in the world would I want to pass the ball after getting bumped and stumbling. Do you really think that play is still available. The what the heck just happened animation after a block where the blocker is stunned??? and the one who got blocked recovers immediately needs to be fixed. Jump balls needs to be fixed. I literally win EVERY SINGLE ONE. The Defensive AI needs to be addressed especially the interior. Its okay to get penetration but the defense should contest the shot or knock or bump them then just let it go uncontested as much. The intentional foul helps sometimes but it doesn't wrap them up like it used to. I should be able to grab them a la LeBron defenders. Please bring back the option to be able to wave the ball around in the triple threat like put it in the defenders face or behind my back or over my head a la Melo/Jordan/Kobe you get the drift.

        This is what I have for the moment. Over the course of playing this game I have a lot of ideas but at the time of writing this some are escaping me.

          I never played association so can you explain what 30 team control is and why its so important? Wouldn't you be able to get any player you want if you could just control the other teams trades as well as yours?

            It's important because the CPU makes crazy unrealistic trades. So this way you could stop this from happening. Also, sometimes for odd reasons the CPU will start a bench player over a starter after a trade happens which isn't real as well.

              We need arena stats like how many points scored in like msg, or in staples center just more stat tracking, especially for mycareer, also the ability home and away colorways of accessories and the ones you can buy if you want to stick to one color, also leg sleeves like the leggings up to thigh like real life, also the ability to sign with other sneaker companies after contract up or if not playing by standards they can cut us from the contract, and sneaker contracts like last-gen should be in the beginning before draft because like wiggins and Jabari are already with sneaker companies and this should based off of how you perform in Rookie showcase, take out the bump animations wasn't in 2k13 and the was a classic game with no weird animations to get stuck in. And last but not least if no crew like 2k11 atleast make it where parks is like Rucker park atleast where I can form a team and jerseys with the ability to perform crazy moves but go to the line and the game will have longevity because myteam isn't cutting it game is completely boring to people over 18.

                  well the CPU makes their own decisions with their own teams so it kind of makes sense. What's realistic to you most likely isn't realistic because you cannot predict the future of the real NBA and the video game seasons

                      Alley oops need quite a bit of work. Here's my proposal: I think the biggest thing on alley oops is that we need more realistic alley oop passes. Half the time an alley oop is thrown, either it is launched into the 3rd row and it is higher than any proffessional basketball player has ever thrown the ball, or it is launch with such an arch that if shaq was sitting down on the half court line, he would have time to finish his double cheeseburger, stand up, walk over to the hoop and jump up just in time for the ball to hit him so accurately in the hands that he can't even catch the ball. This thread is perfect. Alley oops almost need a complete overhaul. Some animations are great but the passes make the oops hard.

                      The other thing that would be nice is an alley oop pass skill. Not signature skill, I mean a 25-99 skill for every player. And if they have a 99, the players won't throw an alley oop that is low enough to get tipped because it was thrown 4 feet below the rim. Also, the higher the skill, the more likely it is that the player between the passer and the dunker gravitates towards the passer rather than knowing exactly what you're going to do every time. If I was gonna dunk it or lay it up, the defender somehow knows that no matter what. But if I pass the alley oop, the defender still knows. It would be nice to see the defender guess based on previous situations similar to this. I know this might be asking to much (I'm not a programmer so I have no idea what kind of algorithms this would require) but it would be an excellent addition. If the player has a 25 skill, they would be more crazy with the passes. (But not as crazy as they already are.) the higher skill would have some crisper oops, and lower skill might float a little more or take a little time to leave the passers hand and have timing be a bit worse and/or thrown in a more difficult position to catch.

                      With that being said, it would also help to expand on the "hands" attribute. Does that mean how well they catch in general? Cuz some players catch certain passes better than others. (Ex: catch with contact, catch regular pass (which could be expanded even more to catch bounce, chest, overhead pass), catch alley oop, catch rebound, and catch interceptions). This might help part of the difficulties they are having with the passing system.

                              MyCareer needs a better back story like your college years and maybe even one high school year so that your draft stock can rise and you can upgrade your overall rating
                              In Association and MyGM you should be able to move cities and customize you arenas with the more successful seasons you have along with jersey, and logo customizations
                              Full customization for MyCareer like adding in something like EA Game face and more options fro voices and also not having to play the full 82 games per season plus all the playoff games if you make it that far also with being able to change your players tendencies for simulation
                              More Throwback teams from the 2000's
                              Bring back Creating a Legend
                              new game modes like MyCoach, MyOwner, etc.
                              Add all of the competitions like skills showcase
                              An official 2k draft class for the next year instead of having to download random ones....
                              More freedom on association and MyGM like having the option to turn off salary cap and not having the coach and owner getting pissed at you for not doing something right
                              there are even more additions that you guys have said
