Season Mode ?

Does anyone know if madden 15 will have just a regular season mode this year or have they not released any details yet ?

he doesn't mean franchise, i don't think. just playing through a single season without all the bells and whistles of franchise.

I haven't played Madden since Madden 12. Were you able to play any game in season or franchise (CCM or whatever it's called) or were you limited to your team's games only? Could you control all 32 teams?

I meant just play a season controlling all 32 teams, without any of the extra crap that is involved. They took it out years ago, I was hoping they would put it back in.

Season mode? I don't think there was ever a mode in madden called season mode.

yea that's you opinion chief I think drafting fictitious nobodies and all the off the field non sense is garbage. There are some people like myself that just want the old-school season mode back like NCAA 14 had. I wanna play the game not micromanage madden football players

you must be very young... season mode was in madden for YEARS. It was quick season and then franchise came along. They had season and franchise for quite a while, and now it CCM/CFM

For those of us that just want to play a single season, this IS what we do. But since we aren't interested in the off season aspects of the game, we would rather not have to filter through all the menus & screens and skip the simulation times etc. Basically we are really just looking for an "7 items or less" lane at the supermarket. And it isn't really a separate mode....just the regular franchise mode that automatically bypasses certain steps and hides certain menus.

Exactly. No bells and whistles, getting in my way, I just want to play all the games in a season.

Well the first madden I played was 2000 but I don't really remember it. 2004 was the first one I remember well.

And if you want to play just the 16 games why not play now? And say you must go 10-6 or so to make the playoffs?

Wouldn't have injuries or other in game events, nor would it have happenings around the league or league stats.

I am not sure why the appeal of season mode for some players is so difficult of people to grasp.
