Thanks 2k. Release a new edition of a game without including all features and modes. I'm guessing we'll get another iteration of the Park on next gen that nobody asked for.

All we need is more sarcastic gifs from LD and assurances that the game is a real simulation of basketball and we're set for the 2k15 hype train

I thought "Crew" was "back" last year.

Pretty insane that they can sell the return of something two years in a row, by not actually having "Crew" be "Crew".

At least it looks like real Crew this time. Possibly too little too late.

I do understand the same trends will happen but before it wasn't THIS bad...it's as if NOBODY is as impressed with this news as 2k is...

They're doing more hyping of this mode than the community is and I believe people were lobbying for a PS4/XBOX1 Crew mode...not just what they had before with better AI or whatever...

Not trying to ramble but just looking through the comments and nobody is really hype about this...now if they had announced crews for PS4 & XBOX1 or no online saves or no VC...they wouldn't have to hype it themselves...we would do it for them...and that's marketing.

What 2k is essentially doing is performing homeless outside and paying themselves with change out their own pocket...it's sick lol

- They still gotta fix the left right 'crossover
- Remove special attributes in the park, the one where you can strip layups and dunks is OP and people just spam the steal button all day because of it. Also when you do contest lay ups they still make it in more often than not.
- Courts need to be bigger, impossible to spread the floor and spot up for a corner 3.

A lot of stuff as well needs to be changed.

I was talking about mode features, not game-play, you are right though.

the first batch of news is always weak. But think of it this way, considering there is no other last-gen basketball game, 2k is in the unique position of being able to get basketball game info flowing without really tipping their hand. i can see the advantages of counter-punching.

My reaction when I'm literally expecting nothing from 2K and they still disappoint.

I had to laugh in a sad sort of way. I had nearly the same thought...went into this knowing that the first bit of news is never anything flashy and they still manged to leaving me shaking my head.

I've never in all my life seen such a misguided marketing group than this one.

They're the Kirstie Alley of the video game world. Looked good for awhile, got bloated, looked good again going into next gen, then once again showed the world it was all about feeding themselves.

I am happy for the 360/PS3 My crew guys ... that mode was great when played with/vs sim guys, thus most users werent ... if servers can handle it (it dropped 2 out of 4 times, if not more ... plus the hacking, thus PS3 was safe in that regard), should be a fun mode to play with current gameplay (no fakefake glitch, no 360 layups cheese, no eurostep cheese) ... I mean, 2k11 was a great game but had significant drawbacks that were magnified in a mode were users could alter ratings to favor such drawbacks.

Had I had one of those systems, would try to play it again.

Now, in regards of this mode being in for PS4/XBONE, lets just say that I am not naive ... I have come to learn that when they do not address something directly, its because it aint happening ... if one really focus on what was said regarding this mode and those consoles, one can educately deduce that it aint appearing, at least not as we know it ... so expect another Crews like flop.

Anyways, this news do bring me some hope that at least they will try to appeal to some by reintegrating modes/features that were taken away ... hopefully we get some of these back: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...8&postcount=16

Meh, it's not a mode that I'll ever play, but I'm happy for those who wanted it back.

Hopefully, this means they're bringing some old modes back and now that Crew players are appeased then maybe the rest of us will get some good news too. I believe that most of 2k players fall into one of three categories - online (whether it's Crew or Play Now), MyPlayer and Association (on or offline). So now it looks like they're going to at least make one group happy and if they add the Old School (VC-less) Association back then they will likely please the overwhelming majority of their fan base. Here's to hoping

Worked us up for absolutely nothing. 2K basically slapped us in the face with the wang. Told us we aren't getting CREW, even though; we've spent $500 on a updated console. I'm disgusted by this. And chances of me buying 2k15, or 2k16 are very slim.
