I mentioned it in the Villa Park screenshot thread, but I was already leaning towards starting in England with Aston Villa. Today's news all but confirms that's what I'll do. The last two careers I stuck with were in Italy and Germany, so England will be a fresh experience even without all the bells & whistles announced today.

I'm considering using the financial takeover or whatever it's called from the catalog at the start. The club is for sale IRL, so it stands to reason the new owners would splash some cash and bring in their guy to manage, right? I wouldn't go crazy with signings, but it'd be nice to have some money leftover after signing a couple good scouts.
