This made me laugh, because it's a complete 180 turn from what Looman said he deliberately built when CCM was introduced in M13:

Yeah, that's a big change for him. Starting with HC09, he's consciously rewarded what he termed "grinding." I guess I'm glad he at least somewhat less doctrinaire about it (practicing was tedious in Madden 13), but I think he's right that football is a war of attrition and rewards he who perseveres (grinds it out, whatever it happens to be, depending on your position, assignment, job, task, etc.).

Ten years ago, NFL 2K5 had this ability - we were even able to edit the ratings of the draft class! I do not know how ten years later we still can't. Oh well, I will enjoy the game how it is on EA Sports terms...

Storyline ruined any chance of custom draft classes IMO. Poor design decisions and locking the game into a new feature without the ability to provide user flexibility. Madden excels at making you play the game they want and the way they want you to play it.

Easy fix would be an option to start a season to use a custom draft class that users can create using a provided template maybe, or the option to use the storyline feature.

Options is all we want EA!

No . . . in game coach option is a bummer, but we knew that.

In that bidding screen for Murray. It looks like Ravens already bid and they have a $ sign on top of them, so I would assume that mean Murray is considering the Ravens offer because of the money?

I like this addition ,but I wish you had the ability to toggle the amount of time. 10 is pretty far away.

Loved the info.
Can't wait to start playing.
Have no real time for online league (Which is going to bother me once they get going)
so seeing the CPU will utilize the XP system makes me happy.

Nothing in this information said "they got rid of coach mode." Let's hope it's still there. If it's removed they surely will say as much.

It looks like the CPU logic is still pretty bad in FA. Why would the Ravens, typically a team to build through good drafts (Ozzie Newsome), pursue such a back in FA when they have Ray Rice locked up and rookies behind him developing? Not to mention why the Cowboys let Murray walk, though I suspect that it has something to do with their ability to screw up their cap situation every year.

I really hope that this is not the case, and especially in the draft. It bothered me so much that teams like the Colts, Saints, etc. would draft amazing QBs every year seemingly, only to have them sit on the bench behind their durable star and never do anything. Then they'd get to be like 4 year pros and cut, still at like 76 OVR, pretty much where they started at. If a team has an older QB like the Pats, Saints, Broncos; fine, let them draft a QB. But not every frickin' year, let them pick a successor and move on. If they picked a bad one, maybe they try again, but not year-after-year. The Patriots went with Ryan Mallett and now Jimmy Garapollo (sp?). They didn't take one every year high in the draft.

Okay, the random draft classes was a suprise. That's a HUGE deal for me, and might sway me to buy Madden 15.

They should try to make relocation jerseys fully customizable next year. Along with being able to create an expansion and new jerseys for current NFL teams.
