Manager Mode - Dominate opponents initially, then fail to win a game
So I'm playing a manager mode with Arsenal, and I tend to find that I will frequently dominate games initially, go on a winning streak winning games very comfortably, then go on a long streak where I struggle to win a game. All my players even during the streaks where I am either tieing or lose games show positive form, It feels like the opponents become impossible to break down and that the rate of the computer causing my players to do stupid things increases. I play world class and find that I'm just suuper streaky. Any suggestions?Tags: None -

Stop playing as Arsenal ha, no just kidding I'm a Spurs supporter and have to basically revamp my team if I want to use them in manager mode. I have found that it feels very streaky as I'm playing through my season, but I generally try changing up formations/lineups and it normally changes my fortunes some. Might not be an actual difference, but it feels like it.St. Louis Blues

Welcome to the world of "adaptive" gameplay, which equals artificially compensating your gaming IQ as you get better... Against weaker opposition (team and gamer) the engine will script to some degree in a bid to "even" things out (and to encourage unpredictability) resulting in the team getting the aids to become unstoppable at times. I wouldn't play this online. It just isn't worth it.
Edit...
I would much rather have it a blank canvas.Last edited by alextheplayer; 09-03-2014, 05:54 PM.Comment

I get the same thing, regardless of who I'm playing as. I got a couple Manager modes going and this mostly happens in my Red Bulls & West Ham modes. For some reason I can keep it at bay a bit, with my Exeter City career, but when playing with bigger clubs, it gets a little ridiculous.Comment
