The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Don't care if Dynasty mode isn't overhauled, as long as it's there...
But all the other improvements, down to them redoing the commentary and presentation to where they record together will be a great addition.
Also the graphics are obviously on par, and they are fixing the transistional animations means a lot.
Also the return of the control system of Live 10, plus the right analog dribbling system was a much requested on wishlist..
These guys actually listened and it's cool for O'Brien to come out publicly and admit the issues and that they are getting handled..
Live 15, might be the game we wished for, and in the end I know others will find issues with it, no matter what!
I disagree in a big way.
This same mode was neglected on the 360 because I specifically remember them not changing much up until Live 09-10, and during Live 10 all they did was change the menus.
Im no big dynasty head but is he saying they are still ignoring it because teams don't keep players for long anymore? I don't understand that line of thinking myself.
I just dont see what damage a robust mode like that will do to your game. I think alot of people would play it, but you can't expect anyone to like something you don't care about if you know what I mean.

"Yes โ Ultimate Team, Live Season, and then our traditional Rising Star and Dynasty modes. You really see a difference if you look back five or eight years ago โ it was all about Dynasty mode. The evolution has happened because the NBA as a league in particular and its players do a great job with what they do socially."
"Does this mean by extension that Dynasty mode is becoming less prominent in your development cycle?"
Re: NBA Live 15 - 20 Things You Need To Know About the Game
I feel like that comment from EA regarding dynasty just typifies why this franchise is in a hole. Not because of a dynasty mode but applying that line of thinking across all areas of the the Live franchise.
I'm so disappointed that EASBL will not be in NBA LIVE 15. If they want people to buy into what they are selling then they need to give us some type of incentives for the bad experiences that were NBA Elite 11 and NBA Live 14. I received a subpar game in NBA Live 14 out of the box which was improved over time, but never lived up to my expectations. So now the only things that were tweaked are Gameplay, Graphics, a couple game modes, and the 5 on 5 experience? I'm sorry, but that's not enough. We knew those things could be improved and were going to be implemented.
EASBL and online dynasty leagues would have increased sales and provided a stronger fan base. I was ready to buy NBA LIVE 15 right away, but going forward....I'm basing my purchase on how this demo plays and what the reviews say..

The lack of depth in Dynasty Mode are disheartening especially compared to what 2K revealled about MyLeague which on paper looks amazing. For whatever reason I still feel much more drawn to NBA Live than 2K this year most likely due to the lackluster experience I got from 2K14. I do like they worked on the presentation this year and tried to make the commentary much more fluent like in 2K though im not a fan of either Breen or Van Gundy as announcers. Its good they worked on gameplay and animations which should of been the goal in developing Live 15.

Maybe I'm weird, but isn't this what you should do anyway?
In any case, I would much rather them get the gameplay and presentation right (the things that will affect every mode, from quick game to dynasty to online), and then worry about flushing out the modes. What good is having awesome modes and features if the gameplay is subpar? Of course, if he's just blowing smoke regarding the gameplay enhancements, then it will be incredibly disappointing, but for me personally, I prefer the approach they're taking. Fix the on-court things first, then worry about modes.
Looking forward to seeing how this game plays. I've enjoyed 2K12 and 2K13 (didn't buy 2K14), but I'm more of a casual fan. I really liked NBA Live 10. So a return to those roots is welcomed.

Ok, Just so I am clear.. EA is saying there won't be a dynasty mode in NBA LIVE 15? or there will not be an upgrade version from LIVE 14? Myself I'm a dynasty head.. love trading for future talent and seeing if derrick Rose can play the entire NBA season without injury.. If they take this mode out I probaby will just get nba 2k.. smdh

It will be there . It won't have many changes but does have improved simming . Some elements of that mode are present in other modes though
Re: NBA Live 15 - 20 Things You Need To Know About the Game
Would say this, after yesterdays news my excitement has done almost a 180 degree turn ...
I mean, I wasnt previously sure to buy a 2015 nba game but my interest was mostly on this game ... then those news got my interest back to a point of I am certaint to buy that other game (unless a major letdown of gameplay), even if not right away.
I havent lost interest on this game tho, but emotions have not spiked as the other one, hopefully Live can manage to make a good game so I can enjoy of having two options.
how can they base it on data when no ones playing live the past 5yrs. Features are just bonus at this point. I just hope they make a playable game this time. Last years demo was not even worth the download, waste of time and gigabytes. We need competition to keep 2k from slacking
Re: NBA Live 15 - 20 Things You Need To Know About the Game
Being that I've become almost strictly a BAP mode player. I'm instantly intrigued that they won't taking gamers down this fantasy road that 2K is taking it's gamers down. In favor of player development. If the gameplay is on par with the graphics I'll likely support EA this year.
You looking at the Chair MAN!
