NBA 2K15 Facial Scans Are Close to 100%, Including Rookies

During the weekly 2K Sports livestream, Ronnie and LD2K confirmed NBA 2K15 facial scans are close to 100% and that includes rookies. In NBA 2K14, it was roughly 85%.

LD2K confirmed in the comments that Chris Paul is one of those players that was scanned.

I hope they finally do a facial scan for chris paul. He has looked awful for years. Its inexcusable for a top tier player to look that bad year in and year out.

They should make it to where you can edit hairstyles through out the season so it keeps up with real life.

I at least hope the guys that got them got a lineup during the week they got scanned. The caveman beards really kills the vibe. Its surprising to because most of these are so image conscious idk how they are comfortable being seen in a video game like that for a year. Especially the guys who actually play.

Was just talking about this, wondering what the % was...it's crazy man...by the next couple of years, every face in the game will be photo realistic...and only rookies will have to be added...

Wonder how changing hairstyles factor into this...would they need to be rescanned?

Hopefully they fixed Kemba Walker's charcoal tan.

Even the year he was on the cover he didn't look like himself. It's bizarre. (wanna say 2K8)

I wonder if he's asking for more money to get his done.

Maybe now that we are in the next gen, 2k has the technology that they thought they had back in 2k12 to edit players' hairstyles during the season after the game releases. I know one of the Madden devs said it was possible for madden so hopefully it is also for 2k

This is definitely good news. You could tell whose face was not scanned in 2K14. They stuck out like a sore thumb!
