Re: NBA 2K15 facial scans are almost at 100%, including rookies
I'm sure they can add dynamic hair...
Scanning the face is not scanning the head...
I just wish they could or would do dynamic head and facial hair...
Or just have players with mutiple hairstyle options. Idk...
But I hope they look into this or have already accomplished it...
The hair should also move again. They always take these things out smhComment

Nice. Question for you: Couldn't you simply use the facial scans from last year (for players we know that sported different hairstyles/beards like Kyrie, Lebron, DeAndre, Steph etc.) then scan them again this year when they rocked their usual appearances. This way the game can switch up the heads either by time of year (beards in the winter time) or just randomly i.e. Ben Wallace's fro/cornrows in NBA 2K5?Comment

they used to have dynamic hair styles on ps2/Xbox.I'm sure they can add dynamic hair...

Iverson and Ben Wallace's hair style use to always change.
Iverson used to have different patterns on his head and Wallace went from cornrows to fro and back again

Re: NBA 2K15 Facial Scans Are Close to 100%, Including Rookies
I think they have the same issue R* had for GTA V vs SA. R* said that they couldn't just have like four different body types like they did in SA because the graphics were not on par so it wasn't hard to tell. Basically saying it was too much work and impossible to allow you to transform the characters bodies with weight gain or weight loss. The same would apply here since they are using head scans and that includes hair so the head model only has the hair they are scanned with. There is a high probability they won't have 3 scans of the same person just for hair.they used to have dynamic hair styles on ps2/Xbox.

My guess is they'll probably do what they did with Iggy and that is find a hair/head model that fits his and "blend" them in a way.Comment
