Nice of someone to recoginze such. A few of them are his fault, but the majority its because the defense can't get a 3 and out or always give up a big play.

I really have no feeling either way for the Cowboys but I've always like Romo as a QB. If he was on a contender he would be talked about like a top 5 QB. Dallas has some of the tools to be a really good team they just need a real GM to put the final pieces in place and real coaches instead of yes men.

In the GoodGameBro pre-game intro video for Bengals v Ravens, Jim Nantz clearly calls out Bill Belichick's name in reference to Marvin Lewis being the second longest-tenured head coach in the NFL.

Hmm.

I think they're allowed to reference him in speech if so being. But they CAN'T reference his visual likeness or stuff like that.

I've been a Giants fan for 33 years, and even I will say that Romo is an excellent QB. He has had a few let downs in key spots, but he is far from the problem in Dallas, and I absolutely despise everything about the Dallas Cowboys. Being a fan is one thing, but being sensible and factual is another. I actually find Romo to be better than Eli Manning. At least from a throwing mechanics and accuracy standpoint. I'm an Eli manning fan, he's a winner and he earned those two bowls, but has been mediocre the majority of years in his career. Romo has played pretty consistently well throughout and has put up some gaudy numbers. That being said, it's all about winning in the NFL.

Watched all the CPU vs CPU ones only to get p****d off.


Why cant this be implemented again. It sure isn't the "AI". Not saying it's great but the AI isn't any different from when I used to run CPU vs CPU in 12.

The running animations, QB Dropbacks and replay camera angles still are very bad in my opinion.

Almost everything else looks wonderful however

And I still would like to see some sexy NFL cheerleaders on the sidelines and maybe even team mascots someday.

So if this is retail (or close to it) What the hell was it that we were watching during the EA presentations a few weeks ago? This footage is night and day better than what we saw then. The players look like they have weight. The running animations are so much better. The tackling is more fluid. The sound is incredible. I watched every video and was able to pick out very little that I didn't like. WOW guys! If this is what we get come release day (Crossing my fingers that it is) We have finally got our football game. This is really really impressive.

Seriously...being a long time pioneer Madden fan. This game looks totally amazing.

I can only imagine playing on slow, zoomed, with some custom sliders, full 15 minute quarters, auto subs working properly, formation subs sticking....I just may take the plunge and pick this up with a PS4 and The Show 14 as well.

Seriously impressed.

I would really like to see inaccuracies tied into not having feet set. There were quite a few manual drop back, throws off the back foot that looked money. I think if you have no pressure, and throw whille your feet are set, Inaccurate throws should be rare. The more pressure, and the more you try to throw in a position not conducive to throwing a football, the more inaccurate your pass should be. Rolling out to your dominant hand and throwing while moving forward shouldn't be as costly as chucking one up off your back foot while backpedaling. Or throwing across the field after escaping. those should be next to impossible to get an accurate pass.

I can tell ya that using the the RS to lead pass or throw a low trajectory pass on a curl route while dropping back will result in inaccurate passes on M25. I feel you have to get your feet set with if your going to use pass trajectories and throw certain passes. Now Elite QB's may get away with it but average joes were not in my experience with custom sliders to boot.


Again I think once we get sliders going this game has a high ceiling to play really freaking crazy good.

Graphics
Presentation and camera angles
Pass defense
Pass inaccuracies
Effort catch attempts
Line play
Tackling, seems to be more multiple contact tackles
The Gauntlet

-Did Not Like
Still no foot-planting
No realistic momentum ball carries cut on a dime without slowing down or planting feet.
Ball carriers not aware of their surroundings they don't protect themselves before getting hit
EVERY player carries the ball the exact same in perfect technique
Qb drop backs and animations are horrible as always

Receivers give effort catch attempts for high balls but NOT for balls thrown low, they don't acknowledge low thrown balls, just stand their. Receivers diving down (facing the Qb) for low thrown balls happens multiple times every game in the NFL but yet seem to be non-existent in Madden.
Still no body or chest catches
Receivers always land on feet after catches & momentum does not change after making catches.

The Raiders got a pick 7 on Manning, no one of the team celebrated with him, in fact one of his teammates walked right pasted him like he's wasnt their.

Looks like most my complaints are are about animations, I haven't really played Madden like that in years so I really can't speak on the logic compared to previous versions of this game.

Overall it looked improved, still has a very long way to go, but its worth a free copy with the XboxONE bundle Ive pre-ordered, so im looking forward to the 26th.
