Oddly enough, I actually have an easier time running between tackles, but it could be because a) that's how I watch the game on Sunday (and I never played a position behind the LOS) and b) it's how I've been playing football games for so long.

In terms of passing, while not ideal (I agree they should pull back the camera on pass plays...similarly to how kickoffs seem to work now), I learned to read the safeties at the snap before trying deep and rely more on timing for short and intermediate routes. Some of it is still a crap-shoot, but it actually made me a better passer overall.
