The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Not sure how I feel about this impression. I really enjoyed 2k14 so a smoother, more polished experience sounds great; however I was expecting there to be some bigger improvements with this being the second year on the newer consoles. Perhaps the focus was on some of the modes such as my player, association, and FIBA

we really need to work on the shot release delay when not facing the basket. someone mentioned that maybe there should be a delay for realism purposes, but it needs to be reworked so that it doesnt throw off your shot timing.
in addition to the delay, i also think that fadeaways need to be addressed. the fadeaway is a great shot and is really effective with shorter players, and should be quicker and actually create space. right now they are borderline unuseable without getting your shot blocked or shooting a shot with a hand in your face.
lastly, if we could get the momentum shots back to their original controls thatd be cool too. i hope a dev sees this! lol

I saw Defensive settings are back. People should be happier...right? That's what we wanted if its what I think it is

I think the question now is whether or not POE is still in the game since they added defensive settings that seems to remove the point of having a defensive point of emphasis

I would love to have both if possible. For example combining Limit Perimeter shots with Deny ball? I swear POE Limit Perimeter shots was just that, limited lol
If they put back all the features from last gen (custom arena tracks, CAP, etc) improve the online experience, and polish the gameplay a bit, I'll be a happy camper.

Well seeing as the last 2k basketball game I played was when LeBron was on the Cavs it's only fitting I pick it up this year now that he is back in Cleveland! So I will definitely be in for a treat

Cheers for the write up!!
The improvements/polishing sounds good to me, looking forward to seeing for myself to truly judge.
Personally i think radical changes would cause more issues and would be a bad move. Better the devil you know sometimes.
I like that 2K Devs are active on operation sports and interact with their customers for feedback. The MyLeague news has me pumped, been waiting since 2K8 for this
