To each their own I guess. I just feel like the people that complain about a cameraman's lower body attire are the type of people that would complain that their wallet is too small for their $50s and their diamond shoes are too tight.

Everyone wants a good football video game so bad that they make a excuses for everything and look the other way. Number one excuse when someone sees something they don't like is "This must be a old build" Ya because EA is trying to sell the game and there going to show you a old build of the game.

All last gen my #1 issue was the WR never goes up for a jump ball and attacks it yet the DB plays it and attacks it. How is this still not in a football game? Why in Madden does the DB attack the football and EA can't do the same for WRs? I would like to throw a jump ball 1 on 1 without having to user control to have my WR attack the ball and not be a incompletion or pick.

Also these ratings in Madden are so jacked up. I am debating if the player ratings alone are a deal breaker and make the game unplayable.

I like the animation with him on the ground, but I would've liked to see the training staff come out.

Any time there is an injury in a game, within a play or two they always have a shot of the player on the sidelines working with or talking to trainers. This should be added, it would be nice if say after the injury to your QB, you don't know the extent of the injury, but after a few plays as the backup, they show a cutscene of the starter being walked back to the locker room with trainers, that would add suspense and look cool as hell.

While I can see an improvement in certain areas I am still concerned about how the CPU handles no huddle uptempo teams. While viewing the Eagles /Skins video (cpu vs cpu) I noticed the Eadles huddled every play and the offense wasn't uptempo at all.. THIS was a problem last year especially on next gen. if someone knows is it possible to change tempo and no huddle tendencies this year for the cpu?.if not a lot of realism and strategy goes out the window especially in single player mode.

I hear ya. I just feel like people who complain about people who just want attention to detail especially being that we are into gen 4 need to realize that we SHOULD expect things like proper attire in weather games especially since it was done on the PS2 I find it funny how people assume just because you want all areas of the game to improve (gameplay, presentation, atmosphere, etc..) you're labled as a nitpicker or a complainer lol. Of course gameplay is most important but this isn't last gen where we had to pick & choose areas of improvement. No reason we can't have the whole package with the power of these consoles. Now that said, I understand this was a shorter dev cycle so I get it & don't get me wrong the game looks great but I'm huge on immersion & things like that kills it for me. They should've fixed this since they didn't last year. But like you said to each their own

This is something I noticed as well after watching all the videos. It isn't where it needs to be, but its on the right track, and is 10 times better than what we witnessed during the E3 videos.

Yeah, that and the Larry Ridley stuff really came along much better than expected post E3. Those two things were easily among the most dreadful around E3 time. Pleasantly surprised that this has turned out better.

I just went back and watched a few of the pregame videos and I agree with Larry Ridley as well.

As i said earlier in the thread, the game isn't where it needs to be, or probably should be, but they have a solid foundation to build upon for the future. Hopefully this team stays in tact and don't deviate from this path they are on.

Yep.
As most of us have done...
We all have spoken our wants for Madden as well as our displeasure with things... that doesn't mean we can't like what we have.

That right there is the problem with a lot of people..If they don't like something then dang-it no one else can actually like it.

Madden is not where I want it yet but I am very excited for M15 and simply can not wait to play it. Game looks great.
Help that I came from stick football back in the day.

So let me get this straight......... they can code something in the game so difficult, to where in Play Now against a buddy at home, each player can select their own player difficulty level (as it has been for years)......... but they can't get some damn cold weather gear on the fans and field personnel? Let us select our own Team Captains in CFM? Or finally work on a little bit of dynamic weather? All of which are huge on the immersion of the game and CFM. Jesus Christ EA..... I love ya and I'm going to get the game no matter what because you have made a heeeell of a game this year... but I'm just saying, polish off what amazing product you've created this year and it'll be just thaaaat much better.

Liking some of the things that im seeing, but those QB animations are bad. I really hope they redo them for 16. From the drop back, to moving in the pocket, to the throwing animations. Its so far behind the rest of the game.

After watching a handful of videos, I am still on the fence. There just too many legacy issues that bother me.

Dislikes:
Animations seem waaay too fast.

Spin moves look like a cheese move. No one spins that fast.

QB throwing motion are....horrible. This might be a game breaker for me.

Likes:
Graphics are pretty nice.

Foles' back footed throw that got picked was really nice to see.

Game looks to be smoother than last year.

My sentiments exactly. Except for the throwing motions but I don't doubt that they are bad. I can forgive that if the passing precision is right

Understand what you are saying here, and you are not wrong, but it is the same thing the other way. You have posters on both ends of this spectrum that do this. It's best to just not engage it and move on.

This is the type of stuff Madden gets away with but other games don't because they have a higher standard. I personally can care less what the people are wearing on the sideline, I want them to fix player movement/make it more realistic, overhaul animations/add a TON more, and add ball physics and route base passing before they do anything on the sideline.
