WWE 2K15 Roster Reveal Discussion Thread

Year after year, there's one question that burns in the brains of wrestling fans everywhere when the newest WWE game gets announced: Who's on the roster? Well this year, that announcement is going to be made in grand fashion, and IGN is going to have it before anyone else as part of our IGN First coverage of WWE 2K15.

This weekend, before SummerSlam, WWE Superstars and Hall of Famers will converge on Club Nokia at LA LIVE in Los Angeles for the SummerSlam Confidential Panel series.

The key one will be on Staurday, August 16th at 10 AM PST, when "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Sting, John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, and Cesaro all help reveal WWE 2K15's roster during a live, two-hour panel discussion. Aside from being physically present at the event, the only place to see it as it happens will be on this very page, where we will be streaming the event exclusively.

I am hoping to see an nxt presence and maybe not as many legends I have heard there are 92 roster slots

I want best of both worlds. Personally, I know very little about the current product they put out on Monday nights. What I do now has been self-taught from the games and OS, really, with the occasional watch on Monday if I'm not otherwise occupied. I'm glad they appeal to people who grew up without the current stars, but I also understand they can't thrive on just the Classic, Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras. So a good mix would be nice. Ideally, they would deliver numerous DLC packs of all previously released characters on '12, '13, and 2K14. Get as many people on board as possible.

I just hope all attitude era wrestlers that were there are still there plus more.. Do not know any current stars at all, besides those that wrestled 2004 and earlier.

Based off the gameplay, there are 92 main spots for wrestlers.

I'm just hoping retro and current wrestlers just have alternate attires this year and don't take up an additional roster spot.

I don't need any legends. I'd settle for a full main roster, and a solid NXT roster.

While I would like to see mostly today's wrestlers, divas and NXT guys and divas I would be perfectly ok with a sprinkle of the legends in there. Don't want the legends to over power the current roster that's all I ask really.

According to the WWE's website, they have 100 current WWE/NXT stars. Obviously there's going to be a few missing, most likely some NXT and jobbers.

Add in the officially announced by 2K superstars/superstars who've confirmed themselves..

I assume Heyman is going to be a manager and not listed as a superstar, so that could leave 57.

I'm hoping we get both Shield and non-Shield attires and music for those guys.

I want NXT to be in the game in some capacity, I will definitely play more of that show in Universe even if I had just, say, Neville, Zayn, Breeze and Graves.

I'm not going to lie though I'm hoping for much more current guys than legends.

I harp on about this every year, but how will WWE gain popularity if they don't expose the casual fans to their roster.

If there is some form of an NXT presence with the roster I will be really happy. Hopefully more than just the main guys from there too. I guess it would confirmed some sort of NXT thing for the career mode as well? I can only hope.
