True Broadcast Cam on PS4/Xone?

I know there aren't a lot of people using the TB camera, but I do really love it. So, does anyone know if it will be on the new consoles? There's a thread on the other forum that concerns me a bit...

You're not alone -- I only used the True Broadcast camera in previous games.

I think it will be there. EA is showing off the three new cameras in their demo builds.

One of the mods on the other forum just wrote the following:

"I can't confirm that. Based purely on assumption - I would think True Broadcast would still be available on X1/Ps4 but I cannot confirm anything at all."

I also used it quite a bit, especially when I got bored of the regular cam, or the game jsut got too easy and I needed a challenge.

I cant say for certain, but with the new NBC broadcast branding happening in the game, it'd be a slap in the face if they didnt use the right camera angle. I'm willing to bet 99% that it's there and hopefully with the controls ironed out this time.

Yep, just saw the achievement for it. I switched cams as soon as they implemented it and haven't looked back. Just fantastic for offline play at least (once I figured out changing the controls to "always up").

Combined with Cycloniacs Music Pack and the revamped rosters I actually really like NHL14.

I played mostly TB but will test out the new cameras to freshen things up a bit. I just did that in The Show and love it.

I hope they make the cameras like FIFA where you can adjust the zoom & height on each.

I love the TBC, I don't use any other camera. Though I personally think it's zoomed in too much, and you sometimes can't see what's going on in the corners.

how do you guys figure out how to aim on TBC? I love it so much, because it really adds to the feeling that you're watching a real game, but I've always sucked with anything other than classic. Any pointers?

I've been using true broadcast can since it came out, love it for offline gm mode, anyways what I do is keep it on auto aim with controls always up, it is difficult to aim manually in this view, but this works out because I like that the ratings matter more with auto then me sniping with fourth line grinders with manual aim

I use camera relative controls. The only problem with this is its difficult to do slap shots depending on what angle youre on. Other than that its easy for wrist shots.

I agree, and very nice idea, however, id be unhappy if my player shot at the goalies chest when there was an obvious opening, itd be too frustrating for me. I like controlling the shots and I find camera relative is the best way to play TBC.

All in all, I hope theyve fixed the controls and enhanced the camera view. I also view they would make a much more dynamic and better Be a Pro cam. Breakaways should zoom in like the used to, and play in the corners should change perspective imo.
