Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
So from a business perspective, Mr. Adult, giving someone access to a game for 72 hours is as good a decision as giving someone 6 hours of access?Couple of comments:
First, slow down with the insults. Most people here are adults and people have been addressing you in an adult manner. You keep going down this path and you wont have to worry about OS' average age because you wont be here anymore.
Second, EA has given 72 hr access to their sports games for 3 years and still has sold millions of games. If anything people playing the game for 72 hrs encouraged them to buy the games.
Which did you think makes more sense? The program that gives you games that are a year older, for free, gives you incentive to buy dlc via discounts and gives you a good 6 hour taste of a new 60 dollar product, or the old system?
One obviously adds more value to the customer and the business, no?
Not to mention this program isn't limited to sports titles.
Yet people are acting like EA is some kind of thiefComment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
I knew Madden trial was going to be only six hours two weeks ago, and still purchased EA Access after the fact. I get four games in the vault(plus more later on), and get to play Madden for six hours, earlier than I would have. I can get a pretty darn good feel for what a game plays like in six full hours of time spent with it. Hell, I have purchased full price games that had only 9-10 hour single player campaign.
For me, that's a pretty good deal -Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

I knew there was a catch. Glad I waited to pull the trigger. I mean 6 hours? Whats the point?

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
Well this is nothing short of disappointing, but not at all unexpected given this is EA we're talking about.
I'm glad that I only did the one month $5 subscription, which I am cancelling today.
I'm also glad that The Golf Club comes out tomorrow, now I have even more time to spend with that game.Comment

The problem people here are having trouble understanding, is that you can pay just $5 and this is not a Sports exclusive feature. You get access to vault games, %10 off Madden 15 and everything applies to non sports games as well.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
Dont understand why people are saying this is a bad deal lol,
You are getting 4 games for free,10%off digital version and 10% off ultimate team packs, early access to the games...
Overall its a great service unless all you care about is the sports games i guess, but even with it being 6 hrs you will end up saving money off just the ultimate team packs..
Disappointed with the 6hrs gamplay limit but overall the program is worth the money in the long run.

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
Perhaps, perhaps not.
The fact remains that those of us who used to subscribe to EA's Season Ticket program got exactly that. It was not unreasonable to assume that would be the case here as well. To call out unhappy consumers for making that assumption is asinine.Comment

I previously purchased 3 of those games. I dont buy digital games. I dont play ultimate team. 2 of those games have new versions that I will buy by the end of September making those two free games useless.Dont understand why people are saying this is a bad deal lol,

EA Access != Season Ticket. EA Access is for more than just sports titles. For people who buy more than just sports titles from EA, this is still great.
The only way this is not worth it is if you paid for a full year ahead of time and only planned on every buying Madden 15. Which made no sense to begin with.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
4 titles that will be obsolete within 4 months, discount on already inflated DLC for stuff that really doesn't do much for sports titles (coins)? 6 hours of gameplay, when you were expecting 5 days worth of action? Terrible execution. So a $30/year program that currently has 4 titles included and will add more in time while never removing any, plus discounts on game and DLC purchases is bad? I'd rather have this then pay $25 for Season Pass that only game 72 hour access for 5 games (now 4) and some DLC discounts.
Season Ticket, got you 4 games 3 days early, some people don't like waiting. So for 6 bucks a title you got the game 3 days before most of the community.
A free demo is more valuable to me, than 6 hours of gameplay, last years' games (which I already had) and DLC that I never purchase. . .Comment
