Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
Yeah, its only 5 bucks. No big deal. If a homeless person asked me for it, strangers needing gas money to get home, travelers needing money to eat, or someone in the parking lot of Walgreen's needing money for their medication (which have all happened to me in the recent past) I would gladly give them more than five bucks. When it comes to wealthy companies like EA, no thanks. They have enough money. If it's only five bucks, please everyone donate to my Paypal. Its only five bucks.

Pay a company $5 for an actual product that can provide hours of entertainment or send you $5 for absolutely nothing. Such a tough choice. Beautiful logic. Much love.Yeah, its only 5 bucks. This has nothing to do with the comment talking about "value". No need to relive the tired argument of Sony deciding for people what is valuable and what's not while they have a streaming service with terrible prices. I own both consoles so fangirls can slow your role.OS Red Zone

If you can provide me 6 hours of entertainment for 5 dollars, sure.Yeah, its only 5 bucks. No big deal. Actually, maybe we should end this discussion, we're potentially entering some weird territory now....Comment

People are more than welcome to be upset (I am disappointed as well). They are also more than welcome to not think the EA Access is worth the money (I happen to think it is great).
But by the beard of Zeus, stop this non-sense pretending Sony was looking out for their consumers because they knew the early access would be limited.
They passed for one reason and one reason only: Playstation Now.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
That's NOT what people are "carrying on" about. People are mainly upset due to the fact EA portrayed their product as one thing and then once they got a plethora of customers to buy in, they release a half-assed stipulation to their product. think about this...Why would they all-a-sudden release this "EA access" a month before Madden? Hmmm, maybe because they knew the all-mighty Madden would be the top selling point in 90% of customers eyes, and thus make them buy into a product that grants them access to Madden 5 days early. Do you think they would have gotten soo many interested clients, if from the beginning they said "Madden 15 early access will be available 5 days before release date, for only a 6 hour trial period" I can almost guarantee "Ea early access" would have flopped. So to sum it up, people feel more cheated and swindled more than anything. Too top it off Ea still hasn't commented or released an official statement about the situation that has this community in an up-roar. Its an atrocity of bad business moves on EA's part.Last edited by kiing 360; 08-18-2014, 08:31 PM.Comment

To be fair, right off the bat EA said that the amount of access and how long the access lasted would vary from game to game. That's NOT what people are "carrying on" about. Correct, but why not say that from the beginning. Why not answer that question right away when it was asked a month ago and everyday since then. I can almost guarantee that who ever runs the Ea access page wasn't supposed to give out that information just yet. Now look at the **** storm....Comment
