I don't know what to say. If they come out this week and team play is in the game, it'll be a shock to everyone. They prioritized a bunch of stuff like commentary and crowd animations over critical game modes like EASHL and GMC. Bottom line, they let us all down.

However, this seems to be the direction EA is heading with all their games, so it is what it is.

Does anyone else think that if EASHL and GMC are not in the PS4/Xbox One version sales drop dramatically? I see Rammer getting fired over this.

I've bought every single version going back to like 96 or 97, but this may very well be the first year I take off from the series...

I really grew tired of the AI this last gen, and GMC was the only way for me to get multiple seasons in... With the added benefit of playing with good groups of guys, for the most part.

I'll probably still rent it or something to see if the offline gameplay justifies an eventual purchase, but I'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

Couple guys in my GMC League have played golf with Rammer and text with him frequently. Dude isn't dropping any hints either way to them. They've asked. EA is tight lipped until Game Modes reveal this week.

I hate when EA removes features and then adds them back in a year or two later making it sound NEW.


This year there will probably be only 2 periods and not 3. Next year here is what the back of the box will read:

That is what everyone was crying over the past few years. Oh, and game faces. HAVE to have those game faces in

At this point you really can't say EA isn't listening cause that is at least 70% of what the topics on the board are about after the yearly release comes out, until they announce the next year's game. It's whining about commentary (which everyone now say's sucks now that they heard it) and game faces. So, careful what you wish for.

I wonder if it's something they want to add in later? Will be interesting to hear what EA eventually comes out and says this week.

I'll wait for a sale on this anyways, but I'd be playing BAP or BAGM offline no matter what, but I know tons of guys here loved the OTP and all that.

If the mode had a lot more options or fixes than last gen, I'd be all for it. For 15 bucks I'd want an AFK timer, vote to kick, more faces, more uniforms, different arenas, a better attribute system and AI that weren't braindead. AI shouldn't be there to bail you out of situations, but they should be smart enough to make a play.
