Oh don't get me wrong, I won't be worrying about THIS situation ever again.

I will take a page out of EAs book and play the waiting game.

If they said in the terms of agreement that you would get Madden for as much as you wanted for the five days leading up to release you would have a point.

Can you show me where they said that?

Or for that matter, show me what part of the contract was deceptive?

And again, I don't like it, I just think you are going overboard on the whole intentionally deceptive part.

I'm mad enough with EA for what they've done with the NHL series that I promise you I am not their biggest fan right now, I'm just being realistic with this scenario.

I think they were trying to be a little misleading. The same EA Access Twitter account was asked by Steve of this OS a couple of days ago about the time limit on Madden. No answer. Today some random guy asks a question that wasn't even as specific and gets an immediate answer of the 6 hr specifics that we have wondered this whole time. If it wasn't a big deal why wait to answer the question?

I wouldn't say that's misleading as much as the communication about this whole thing was atrocious which I haven't denied since people have been asking this question for weeks.

By NOT saying "Madden 15 early release will be limited to a 6 hour timed trial" they were being deceptive. Only vaguely Stating that "some" titles will be limited, fully knowing from the start which titles will be limited is deceptive. Im having a hard time understanding how you cant see that as deceptive

He said the games' playtime 'may' be limited, but said nothing concrete about Madden 15.

This is directly off the XBOXONE EA ACCESS APP, under the member benefits. It doesn't state anything about a 6 hour limitation. That should be something that is included on the benefits, if it is part of the membership "benefits". Seems more like a membership limitation if anything. This is really sad considering I probably will cancel this now and not pick up the game purely out of spite...

You know I just thought of something... I mentioned a couple weeks ago, if they were close to finishing the game, why they couldn't bump the street date up a week. And given the proof that people have it already and the retail copies are out there; they COULD'VE done this! So not only is the game ready, and they release it earlier to appease their fan base, but then this whole EA Access thing NEVER happens, and create turmoil. SO, if they just release it tomorrow instead of next week, not only do they make the fans happy; but they avoid pissing them off. WINS all around for everyone..

I'm not happy, my man and I'm not alone. If vocalizing that I'm not happy and speaking truth is trolling to you, then you are biased. I'm just a longtime Madden player who wants to be treated fairly by the company that puts out the game that I've supported since 2001. I'm not being treated fairly because I bought EA Early Access before it was disclosed that playing Madden 15 would be limited to playing for 6 hours. The only reason to limit that time is if there is a fear that players could play the game out in 5 days. If that fear wasn't there, then there would be no such limitation.

You really don't think that's misleading? You don't think they knew Madden 15 early access would be the big selling point right now? That's why they released it now IMO. They new some would spend $5 to get to play Madden early and they held off on telling us it's 6 hrs just because they knew they could make a few more bucks.

Of course it's our fault. I only spent 5 just because I knew there might be more of a limited time than I expected.

                            I personally still think it's worth 30 a year. I have played 3 games of the 4 that I didn't have.

It's possible they waited to tell exactly what the time limit would be because they hadn't made a decision yet but, I doubt it. I expected a time limit based on how it was described but, I feel most thought it would be more than 6 hours. If it was 2 or 3 days early then 6 sounds better but, 5 days? IDK sounds a little shady. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

While I get your point, the game has a set release date every year. There are about a million reasons why you can't do that even if you wanted to or could both from a marketing and business standpoint in terms of deals in place and so forth. In short, it's the same reason movies don't get moved up just because they're done months in advance and so on.
