Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
I plan on getting an Xbox One asap and will be getting EA Access. Seems like a good value to me. $30 bucks and I don't have to buy BF4, which my friends play a bunch of, and FIFA. I wouldn't have bought either used even though I play both. Budget is tight. So I see it has paying 15 bucks for each. Yeah I don't keep them forever but they will be replaced with other games and if they are wack I can just not renew.
If someone really paid thirty just to play madden 5 days early they have plenty of money to burn so I don't see why they are throwing heat at EA because they assumed something that wasn't stated. No one forced anyone to buy it right away...Comment

Looking over everything that has transpired since yesterday. "5 days early access" could be misleading.
I'll just get refunded and purchase Diablo.Comment

Eh I think some of yall are overestimating how many people wanted this to play Madden early.. go over to IGN when the articles about EA access first started comig out. The general gaming community didn't care about Maddens early access at all. Here its a big deal of course but its far from the biggest sellig point. If it was I would agree with you.
Like if this was season ticket, which I think was paying soley to play early right? Then the length of time is the main selling point.Comment

It's misleading if you only read that line. It clearly states the trial may only be for two hours.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
If it was labeled as 6 hours upfront, I would have still bought it.
Work, marriage and family and I don't have a bunch of free time. I'll barely burn up the 6 hours as is.
For me, it works, for others not like me, probably not.
To each their own on that.
If people go to Steve's first post on EA Access, there is an *. The * at the bottom says something like restrictions and exclusions apply and directs you to the website that states limited playing time. I agree, everyone's interpretation of limited time is subjective and they could have been more crystal clear on that.Last edited by roadman; 08-19-2014, 09:55 AM.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
This is what I am wondering as well. If it is just actually in game, then that changes things. I have plenty of things that I could get set up for next Tuesday. If it is from right when you start up the game or push start, then I will have to plan a bit differently.
Also curious to see if you are mid-game and your time runs out if the game just stops.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
Wow! EA Sports brags about 5 days of early access, but only gives you six hours of gameplay? That's shady. I hope a lot of people pass on it just to prove a point that they need to be more upfront. The fact we are just finding out about this now is insulting to consumers. I seriously don't get EA Sport's mindset on this. In what world did they think keeping this a secret until a few days before was a good idea? Sure, those who purchased it have already spent their money, but you keep them from buying it next year. If I would have bought this, I'd demand a refund.Last edited by PatsSB2015; 08-19-2014, 10:11 AM.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
I don't see why I should ask for a refund just because of this. I have already sunk hours into FIFA. Would be shady of me to ask for refund after already enjoying the product. I knew the madden trial could be for a time as low as two hours.Comment

Re: EA Access Gives You Just Six Hours Of Madden NFL 15 Gameplay
The issue is in the details. EA Sports claimed you can try out the game 5 days before release. No details of minimum game play until today? There was no assumption that EA and Microsoft would pull a stunt like that. The fault isn't on the consumer, but the corporation behind it. They should have been clear from the start. It was false advertising.Last edited by PatsSB2015; 08-19-2014, 10:51 AM.Comment
