Have any improvements been made in NHL 15 (or are you planning any future improvements) in terms of the number of penalties against the CPU being brought up to a more realistic level or do you believe this is not an issue?

Hi Sean,

Has the "Alternate" camera setting for single player been fixed for the PS4/XB1 versions of NHL 15? The past 3 or 4 years I feel like your only option when playing solo was "Always Up" regardless of what setting you used.

I'm wondering approximately how many new faces were scanned for NHL 15? And will we being seeing support for this throughout the year, like new faces added on going? I love the authenticity of the new arenas but they mean little to me if half of my team is skating around with a generic face. Thanks!

In GM:

1. When a coach is hired/fired will they carry their own strategy/playbooks?
2. Will each team actually play the way the strategies intend for them to play?

Hi Sean,

Long time NHL series fan (back to 07!). Thanks for all your guys hard work over the years, but I am sad to see all the features gone, as I have fully embraced next-gen (Xbox One and PS4). Couple questions:

1. Can we be confident the "next-gen" NHL 15 is worth the full $60 price point? Especially considering that all these modes are gone...plus comparable games like FIFA and NBA 2K launching with updated visuals and relatively full feature sets. Not to mention current gen NHL 15.

2. Are you worried that releasing a title so stripped of modes damages the NHL (and EA Vancouver) brand/reputation?

3. Why wait so long to let the community know? People were e-mailing Costco customer service about their posted box art and following your achievements to get information (which appears to all be correct, but only now confirmed).

NHL 15 on the new consoles provides a fundamentally different gameplay and presentation experience plus still delivers Be A GM, Be A Pro, NHL Moments Live, Online vs and HUT.

The reason we did not release info earlier is that we were pushing hard to get as much content in as possible for the launch of the game. It wasn't until today that we had to officially lock the final content which unfortunately did not include OTP however we will be bringing back OTP as part of a free update.

Is the OTP mode that you guys are planning to patch into NHL 15 using created players (like in NHL 09 through NHL 14) or is it using real NHL players (like in NHL 08)?

If it's using created players, will OTP support the same attribute boosting microtransaction system from recent EA NHL games?

The first release of OTP will be using NHL players.
Getting created players back is priority for us since it's a critical part of the EASHL experience.

Sean, I just want to thank your team for the hard work you put in day and night to get us our yearly fix of video game hockey. I have owned every edition of the game since '93.

I am wondering if your team has ever considered moving to a rating system similar to what the "revamped" team has done here at OS?

Can we expect any specific improvements to Be a GM mode in Xbone/PS4 compared to what was offered in NHL 14 on last-gen at the time of release? I know you had mentioned updates being released via patches and such, but will there be anything new and improved in the mode right out of the gate?

On the EA forums you've stated that things are being "patched in" to BE A GM mode. Can you please elaborate on that?

With the Arizona Coyotes having announced in February they will wear their 1997-2003 sweater atleast once during the 2014-2015 season, can we expect to see these sweaters in NHL 15?

Additionally, were any new sweaters added to either the XB1/PS4 or X360/PS3 versions of the game?

Would love to finally get an answer about this ONE. Rammer has been dodging the question for long enough.

We havn't heard very much in regards to the games modes that are in NHL 15 next gen. Any improvements to gm and beapro?

Also quick question, I see that NHL nextgen has BeaPro and oldgen has live the life. Are there any differences between the two?

Sean quick question I'm a novice when it comes to hockey and hockey games in general but the game looks amazing graphically and presentation wise. How much pick up and playability does this game have? I remember (don't remember what year) you could even bring it to a three button like the genesis days is this also possible?
