but why takes these popular players out for players rated in their 50s that wont be signed in real life or in the game? this is a video game after all you would think theres more appeal to adding tebow on your roster than a 50 rated qb? (tebow should be rated 50 lol jk) but idc really for it just want to know the logic for excluding more popular players in FA for ones that would rarely be used.

I could counter with why add in these popular players who have zero chance of being signed in real life? Last year the Patriots were so desperate for a WR at the end of the year they called Austin Collie, not Terrell Owens. With all the QB injuries last year not a single team even called Tebow for a try out. Some of those players in the 50's will be signed in real life just like Austin Collie was last year. Wait for injuries to start popping up.

bcuz its a videogame and casual fans would rather use popular players than someone like austin collie. thats why if one of these 50 rated players gets signed they can add him in bcuz im sure they are still saved in the disk. i know these players have 0 chance of signing in real life but bcuz they are popular im willng to bet fans of madden would rather use them in their franchise than a collie.. look at all the where should i put tebow posts/threads come up there arent any of collie... i make these points for the casual side but for realism i agree with you and a lot of these games dont cater to realism i mean ultimate team is just a fantasy draft roster essentially so cater to the casual fans and include the popular free agents is all im saying

I was replying to your "won't be signed in real life comment". At the end of the day EA will never be able to please everyone. If Owens, Tebow or Ocho are that important to you just use create a player to make them and sign them as free agents.

Will Hill isnt that good dude. He is okay. OJ Otogwe was always rated in the 90s due to impressive stats, and he was never that good. Even if Will Hill deserves to be higher than that, its not off by alot like youre suggesting.

And PFF? Wha? PFF is garbage and only good for casual fans who really dont know any better. PFF's metrics and rankings are almost as bad as Donny Moore's Madden ratings.

Will Hill isnt that good dude. He is okay. OJ Otogwe was always rated in the 90s due to impressive stats, and he was never that good. Even if Will Hill deserves to be higher than that, its not off by alot like youre suggesting.

While PFF isn't the be all/end all people make it out to be there are some very good metrics you can use on that site.
