Just read this in another review: Unfortunately, interactions between wide receivers and defensive backs have still not received much attention; if you’ve been frustrated in the past by receivers not fighting back to break up a potential interception, or by receivers making catches in traffic too frequently while sandwiched between defenders, you’ll find similar results playing out this year. On the same topic, you’ll find little change to the number of penalties and variety of penalties called on default sliders; only penalties occurring as a result of direct user input like offsides and false starts seem to be happening.

While this inaccuracy seems to work as directed for user-controlled players, even on All-Pro difficulty with default sliders the AI quarterbacks can go on superhuman runs of completions. Regardless of the ratings involved, a quarterback can complete in excess of 80% of their passes, even when a significant pass rush has been generated to disrupt them. Sliders and gameplay tuning may be able to tweak this experience, but at present the inaccuracies are hit-and-miss for the AI

UGH I cannot believe WR/DB interaction and passing is still in this state, there goes my enthusiasm for thid game.

Re: Madden NFL 15: Retail First Impressions

I just got such a chubby reading this:

The New Connected Franchise Options Are Great — Setting up a weekly gameplan or repairing your team’s busted up confidence is such a great series of decisions to have to make each week. Alex Smith had a horrible game against the Broncos and his confidence sank, so I had to spend valuable preparation points to raise his confidence back up. These are the things you don’t see in the NFL, but things coaches have to do to ensure players are at the top of their game.

OS knew about the WR/DB interractions from an interview with Rex and Clint last November.Rex said in a few years they would get to that.

I've done slider adjustment for QB accuracy on both sides for a long time. It won't be different it appears this year.

I don't think anyone was trying to insult MMChris, but the" fanboyish" ( yes i just made up my own word lol) impressions become a bit irritating. No offense to MMChris, you are entitled to your own opinion (no matter what that maybe). But please understand that the game can be better analyzed with a non-biased opinion (someone who calls it like it IS). Coming from that perspective, this impression doesn't hold much weight. And regardless if you like or cant stand Madden, we all hope for the best and want solid impressions we can gauge the game with (especially without a demo). Im going to redbox it. I could have found out everything i needed from the demo, but we all know that isn't possible. I think that inadvertently amplifies the "need" for unbiased impressions. Thanks for sharing anyways thou.

Amen to that man. This is one man's assessment. And as you said, it is very biased. There are soooo many things still broken in the game. Sadly, some game changers have already posted some nano blitzs that according to Rex Dickson where so suppose to have been eradicated. Still seeing the same dead body pile ups where players go limp and fall to the ground unconscious after contact during tackles. Olinemen being tossed aside as if they were feather weights by Dlinemen. WR/CB interactions still missing. Weather effects are still meaningless. Players still cut, juke, spin and run as if they were playing on a bright sunny day. The oline still uses that hybrid blocking system that in reality creates poor run blocking giving the illusion of a great defensive play when in actuality the play was broken from the start. Too much to list but yeah, he neglected to list a long list of issues that still remain. Rest assured, there will be videos and reviews coming by people who actually know the sport for more detailed unbiased break downs.

Does anyone know how long the install takes? I don't know whether I should pick it up Tuesday after school and let it download while I'm at work, or if I would be fine just getting it after work if the download isn't too bad
