Hello Operation Sports members,

Sorry I can't post this in its own thread since I'm a bit too new.

The Golf Club Tours
I've been running two tours for The Golf Club over on the official HB Studios forum. The most popular one is called the PGA Tour. It will be open to all systems upon release of the game (we are currently getting 80+ early access players on the leaderboards per week).

PGA Tour info:
- 12 weeks per season
- 3 rounds on regular weeks, 4 rounds for major weeks
- Majors (no scout cam) every 3 weeks
- Two leaderboards - PGA and Web.com - keep a scoring average below 69.7 to stay on the PGA leaderboard
- PS4, XB1 and PC will all be on one leaderboard
- All tournaments will be found in the Tournament section of the game
- Tournaments will usually run from Saturday to the following Monday (9 days)
- All you need to do is play and we'll update the leaderboard.

I'm also running a tour that will be called the True Sim Tour. This tour will cater to the hardcore sim fan or those who enjoy a challenge and will also be available on PS4, XB1 and PC. The goals of the True Sim Tour will be to have the winning scores more realistic.

True Sim Tour Info:
- no grids for all tournaments
- 4 rounds per tournament
- 20 week season, majors every 5 weeks

Yes - PGA Tour - Week 5 is in the tournaments section of both the PC and the XB1. We have 32 scores on the leaderboard after 1 day.

The True Sim Tour - Final Warmup is also open for playing in the tournaments section - we're not officially starting the tour until the PS4 guys have the game. But if you're on XB1 or PC you can get a taste for what that tour is all about - kind of a try before you buy!

Season 1 of the PGA Tour is about to wrap up - we've had over 300 golfers compete on tour so far!

I would have a renewed interest in a Tour once they enable the ability to have fixed winds for tournaments. According to one of the devs this morning, as soon as the XB1 update is posted on XBL, they will flip the switch on the server to enable this.

I would be interested if it was a no aids tour. I can't play TGC with aids on, it just doesn't feel sim or realistic when everybody shoots -12 per round with all aids on.
