Re: Ask Me Anything: Sean Ramjagsingh, NHL 15 Producer
This storm with this particular has been brewing for a while, let's just hope we have seen the worst of days and that brighter futures lay ahead. The most important thing is that we are heard and that they try and communicate back. When those two things stop happening it is not good for anyone!
I dont know how true NBA 2k15 is, but they are listening and they brought back the missing mode. THis is the kind of information I want to hear from RAM, but he's so good in interviews that he can dodge a bullet....I think he has a good career in politics. Kidding aside, EA need to smarten up and really be truthful to their consumers.
I will rent this game and if I dont like it I'll return it since NBA 2k15 is just around the corner.Comment

It's not even the OTP that we are used to though.
It's just nhl players and teams. Not created players. And we don't even know if they will track personal stats or have lobbies, etc.Comment

And from what i read in one of the posts somewhere it is random join so it sounds like you won't even be able to play with friends. Hopefully that person who posted that is incorrect.
Being older, married, jobs, kids, etc, it is really the only way my buddies and I can "get together" is online from our respective home and play some hockey as couch coop no longer works with our schedules and distance we live from each other.
Another year of 14 it is.Comment

Re: Ask Me Anything: Sean Ramjagsingh, NHL 15 Producer
it won't, because it's OTP and not EASHL. Deal with it dude. it will still be 6 v 6 hockey. It likely won't run as smooth as the EASHL we all know but it will be the foundation for next year. We won't be able to experience EASHL on PS4/XB1 until NHL 16. I think most people on here have processed that by now. We should consider ourselves lucky that EA is even planning to put out a patch for OTP. If you absolutely need to play EASHL this season, just play NHL 14PSN:Xplisit21

Don't know if this means anything ,but I looked on nhl 15 ps3 version modes on ea sports forum, and season mode wasn't on there either. maybe it will be automaticly in,(wishful thinking). I hope so, all I play is season mode.Comment

Even now I can get on and track my weekly, monthly, and overall stats just from OTP.
I have very little interest in everyone racing to pick the Hawks, Pens, Bruins or Kings just so they can pick a player that is dominantly rated. If that is all they are ever patching in then I am probably out, especially for online play.Comment

It's become clear to most that the upcoming release will for 1 v 1 and offline players, or players who are simply happy to experience hockey on new hardware
not for the beggars who are trying to be choosers.PSN:Xplisit21

which is why I recommended you stick with NHL 14 until a proper OTP/EASHL is implemented into the Ps4/XB1 games

Is GM connected being scrapped for good? There was talk of bringing EASHL back, but GM connected was completely ignored on the statement released earlier this week.Comment

Re: Ask Me Anything: Sean Ramjagsingh, NHL 15 Producer
I think it was one of the modes that was poorly implemented. We'd take our once a week trying to get online, play a 3 game block, then while the game simmed for 30 minutes to the next block of 4 games we'd sit............................................... ....and wait...............then it was time to go, kids, bed , work. Lets not even talk about the offseason. Just not feasible. Gross implementation
If implemented better, I think the mode would have been played more. If given season length options, the mode would have been played more. Just too many "ifs".
I blame EA for the poor play percentage of GM Connected. We tried in 13 and assumed the sim and whatnot was quicker in 14, wasn't.
I hate to see the mode go as I was assuming the sim engine would be hours quicker and this would be my vessel to get my boys into the next gen for some new hockey. It isn't, so we'll stay with Battlefield and talk about how we wish we were playing hockey.Comment

Was anything said about fixing the cheating CPU? Was it even acknowledged? Will it be a key feature offline again in 15?We are the music makers...Comment
