Hi guys. I'm fairly new to the Madden games. This is the 2nd one I've played. I'm looking to start a season in this one and play 15 minute quarters on All Pro. I also play without an accelerated clock if that means anything?
I've played only a couple of games so far on play now and some of the trends I've notice seem off. I haven't tried any sliders or anything yet as I have never used sliders for a Madden game before. This game seems like it's a must though if you want realistic stats for 15 min games.
Since I've only played 2 full games I haven't noticed too much yet so anyone feel free to chime in if you have played full games and have noticed some weird stuff as well. But so far I've noticed..
- Too many yards? I think both CPU and User had around 4 to 5 hundred yards each and the game was in the mid 3rd quarter
- Too many caries for the CPU RB's. I was playing the Raiders as the Jets and MJD had 30 something carries for 130 odd yards in the late 3rd
- Waaaay too many sacks for both teams. Not sure of the number but I'm pretty sure this is a known issue anyway?
- CPU QB seems to be too accurate. This though could be because I suck? Haha. Matt Schaub was playing like Peyton Manning. In the late 3rd he was 23/26. I know I'm fairly new and it might be my playcalling or whatever but that's still pretty high yeah?
- Too many picks. In a game VS the Seahawks I found it a bit too easy to pick off Wilson. I had 2 in the 1st qtr in the space of 5 mins! Haha. I guess this could happen but it does feel a bit off?
Anyways I guess what I'm after is any feedback as to weather anyone else has these issues or more? And as I said I'm a bit of a Madden newbie so I was also wondering if there's a slider/roster specialist the community use for playing their season modes and could recommend for me?
