    Under The Radar Players

I know most of you haven't gotten to play a lot, but who are some good under the radar players you've noticed so far?

For me, LB Brandon Watts for the Vikings plays well above his 68 overall rating.

Hopefully when the game comes out Tuesday we can get a list going.

Two for the New England Patriots:

    Kenbrell Thomplins - 73
    Zach Moore - 71

Both can be developed into great starters and play better than their OVR.

Dontay Moch of the Cincinati Bengals.

I take him every year because he has 90 speed at LB and really high hit power. He's raw but you can turn him into a star.

Jarvis Landry on the Dolphins has really good catching. Perfect for using him in the slot.

Agreed. His OVR rating (even though its a bit irrelevant) is way too low IMO. He's going to be a pleasant surprise for Miami this year.

He's also a perfect player IMO for this discussion too. With a bit of work, if you're concerned about OVR's, I'd think you can get Landry up there pretty quick, because his position related ratings are actually good.

Tyrod Taylor for the Ravens is a great backup QB... excellent speed and good arm.

Donte Moch is the Gerald Greene of Madden. That guy has ridiculous stats. Both he and Taylor Mays on that team too. Personally, I like to grab Denard Robinson and build up his skill set.

Allen Hurns WR Jaguars. Former star at The "U" and I can't believe he went undrafted.

He very well may end up being the Jags #1 WR this upcoming season.

                  Re: Under The Radar Players

Why are The Bills' Jerry Hughes and Marquise Goodwin damn near unstoppable in Madden?

Hughes, a one-time Colts bust, seems to rack up 10+ sacks a season and is seemingly perfect for Madden's Bills scheme (the same scheme that tends to undervalue multiple-time Pro Bowler Kyle Williams). In my PS4 M25 he went up to a 99 on auto-progress despite having either normal or slow development. M15 seems exactly the same.

Speed still matters a lot in the Madden series because Marquise Goodwin is at least guaranteed to burn a defensive back once per game. His low catch rating offsets this, but he could be an under-the-radar pickup for anyone's CFM team. Could also be a player to watch in real life if the team had any offense...

I doubt it. That is one position where they do have some talent. Blackmon aside (though he is talented), they have Cecil Shorts III and Marqise Lee.

Jordan Matthews is pretty good on the Eagles.

On the flip side, everyone on the D plays worse than they should.

Blackmon is going to be out of the league. He can't stop drinking.

Have you watched Hurns this pre-season? Now I understand pre-season can be fodder for the most part....but Hurns is making a very strong case to be a starter...right now.

                          Time will tell.

I've been tearing it up with Storm Johnson. He was Bortles' RB at UCF, now with him in Jville. He's a stud.

I'm using Washington and he actually seems harder to take down than Morris which can't be right. I get a lot of short gains with him and then seem to be able to bust a long run.
