    Rebuilding in CFM

What team are you looking to use as your rebuild of a franchise? I can't decide if if prefer to use the browns, bills or jags. I've gone back and forth on them all. Gerhart sounds like fun to use but a virtual Manziel that can't get in trouble by opening his mouth has it's perks too. Spiller is always a blast to use. Hmmm.

Jags would probably take the most work to turn into contenders. You have to get them a new stadium, improve your fan happiness, and just turn around that entire organization.

I agree but the same argument with the exception of fanbase can be said for a team not on his list that I think I'm rolling with in my test cfm. The raiders. Carr could be a great talent and mack anchoring your defense. Also moving them back to L.A.

I normally sim a season and pick a team that finished with under 6 wins. This year however I am leaning towards the following:

Oakland - plenty of cap room, no huge contracts, already has a QB of the future (Carr).

St. Louis - with the loss of Bradford could be in for a long season, plenty of young talent especially on defense.

Carolina - Needs a complete rebuild on offense. QB still hasn't lived up to the hype, have no WR's, an average O-line and aging RB's with lots of wear.

New York Jets - hate them in real life but think they would be fun for a complete rebuild.

I've got to turn around my hometown Cowboys, but I will give the team an as-is run through the first year and work from there.

            1. Draft Tony Romo's eventual replacement.
            2. Trade Sean Lee for a MLB that can stay healthy.
            3. If Murray is injured AT ALL trade him for someone that won't be.
            4. Hope that Mo Claiborne plays up to his potential.
            5. Completely overhaul the defense otherwise.

Where'd you get the info that they (Jags) lead the league in ticket sales? Just curious because ESPN has the rankings from last year and they're 28th.

I'm looking forward to rebuilding the Dallas Cowboys and upgrading that historically bad defense, along with a young QB to groom.

I definitely want to run with either the Vikings, Raiders or Titans.

Vikings- HUGE Bridgewater fan. I'd have him and Cassel battle it out in preseason and figure it out from there. Anthony Barr is another nice pickup for them to build on the pass rush and you can't go wrong with having AP.

Raiders- similar situation to the Vikings with Carr vs. Schaubb. Like Khalil Mack and the James jones pickup on offense. Two very talented backs could be dominant together if healthy. Also I'm a UConn guy so Sio Moore and Tyvon Branch>

Titans- Start Jake a Locker to start the season and if he gets hurt/struggles it's the Mett project. Work Sankey in with Shonn Greene (king of the one yard carry) and use McCluster for some explosion. Again I'm a UConn guy so Blidi Wreh Wilson is a good corner for me to have to go along with McCourty.

id go with the browns tbh..their defense is prety solid..use hoyer as trade bait..try to get another WR...then i think that if you are a good player you can build off of that

I would pick the Browns. I like them and would always rebuild them in old Maddens (PS2 days) However, I don't know if I can handle Manziel. Not a fan of his in real life and that might carry over. Trade him?

Titans would be a good team to rebuild.

Rams is probably what I will go with. Get to play the Seahawks and 49ers twice a year, so that will make it hard. Also, lived in St. Louis during the Warner days and since I am from Iowa, I loved (still do) him. Would like to return them to contenders.

I would also consider the Bills. Need to get back to the glory days of Kelly, Thomas, and that great D.

I'm rolling with the Jags. Bad overall team. Questionable QB.

1 interesting thing I've noticed about this game. It appears that teams have the same draft picks that they have in real life. I noticed that the Browns have the Bills' 1st round pick next year. This could definitely effect which team you decide to pick. I don't believe past maddens have been like this and I haven't read this anywhere just yet. Just an FYI if you didn't know!

I'm a Saints fan, but I'm going with the Rams, as the Saints would just be too easy to win with this year (plus Brees always retires after like a year or two, that's no fun). My favorite player plays for the Rams too, the beast that is Robert Quinn. Yes, *gasp* it's not Drew Brees or Jimmy Graham. lol

I also follow Rams football closely as well every year alongside the Saints (from south Louisiana), and losing Sam Bradford again after he worked so hard to get back on the field, is just terrible. Good thing they have the D that they do, and Bradford was looking primed to have a great year. The guy is just made of glass though.

Anyone have an opinion on what I should do with the QB situation with the Rams?

Play Shaun Hill for a year then draft a QB, or look to trade for a younger one? I was thinking maybe I could get Mike Glennon from the Bucs. I wish that was the case IRL, but the Bucs would never let him go. He's 24 years old and already has shown flashes of being a good QB commanding the Bucs offense. Then again, I could possibly move up the draft and try and snag a true franchise QB.

That's the tricky part, I probably won't lose too many games, despite being in the NFC West, but that D will keep me in some close ones, leading to a terrible place to pick in the draft for a great QB, IMO.

I read it in a July Bleacher report article, but nonetheless it's irrelevant. I'll just see if the players put up the stats to argue a ratings upgrade this year.

Bills. Favorite team anyway. But lots of talent on offense. O line has just huge maulers but we will see how they do for pass protection.

Defense is good on the front line, but without Alonso this year the LB core is decent if that. CB are questionable beyond Gilmore, and our only sure starter on safety is Aaron Williams who only has one decent year under his belt.

Lots of young talent though. Browns having the pick from watkins hurts though.
