Man at this point 2k doesn't have to change anything. This is the MO. Hype the game. Hype the game. Hype the game. Their going to get their money simply because people will run out and buy it regardless. Maybe a developer will rise in the future who will address the needs of all of the bball sim population. Until then, we're stuck with 2k and live. -

I hate to keep saying it but trying to be patient but if the band's starts coming in hard don't say I want being fair or didn't let people know.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer Impressions (Roundtable)
What worries me still is centers running stride for stride with PGs. We saw in that one video where Splitter chased down a point guard (forgot who it was). That cannot happen.
And if I'm a quick PG, I shouldn't need to use dribble moves to blow past a big lug if ones guarding me.Last edited by 2_headedmonster; 08-26-2014, 03:36 PM.Comment

I don't think anyone pointed this out, but I am glad the cheerleaders do not move in perfect unison. if you'll notice you'll have a few a split second or so behind. I think little details like that show how much they pay attention to the little things. it makes it more real to life and not just some code that makes everyone do the same thing.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer Impressions (Roundtable)
I liked the trailer and think the graphics are looking nice. Like many have said you shouldn't expect the jump we got last year. Really hoping for that College 2k8 feel in the studio with Ernie and Shaq.
The trailer was really nice, love player intro's, the cheerleaders and the lighting among other things but for me this wasn't a trailer to make me say i'm buying day one...the news about Myleague and the new additions to the 2k team is what has me most hype and eager to get into the game....this was just some nice icing on the cake.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer Impressions (Roundtable)
Fair, though none of those dribble combos were in the previous game, dribbling in general looks much quicker and life like, AD's rebound animation, the missed dunk, KD's shot looks better. The player intros look great, the moving hair.. I saw a lot that looked improved upon, I guess I'm just missing the angle of your post and what you're trying to critique about this trailer.

Re: NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer Impressions (Roundtable)
I think you are reaching as well. Reaching into a sizzle trailer, that shows a host of improvements and complaining about things that don't have priority in the actual trailer. Many of the games improvements in the exact ways you are complaining about are in the trailer.
And as a consumer we all want improvements. All of us. You seem to want perfection.Comment

I have a feeling it won't be much different than last year, graphics basically looked the same, Ernie and Shaq a welcome bonus. Hope they have create a player back, and 2k is it to hard to Jane real full sleevetats and new choses, so tired of the limitation in create a player.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer Impressions (Roundtable)
For me I realize that gameplay is never going to be perfect so the selling point of this game is ultimately the presentation. Commentary, the crowd, player intros, all of those features which immerse me into the game as if I'm actually a game on TV, have to be on point. It really does seem like they put effort into the presentation this year so I'm really considering it.Comment
