yeah i had the same problem, i just quit madden and restarted the game and its working now. I hope i don't have to do that every time i make a change to something…i have all other 31 teams on autopilot…its a bit of a process but it might be worth it if it fixes the stats

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
To those of you having trouble playing games with 32 team control, you have to turn the simulate game prep option OFF for all teams. If you dont then every time you try to play a game it tries to go through the game prep for all 32 teams before it allows you to play your game. It's actually not freezing, but literally taking 5-7 minutes going through and simming every teams game prep. Once I turned the simulate game prep option off I had no problems with the games loading for me.NFL: Seattle Seahawks
MLB: Seattle Mariners
NBA: Seattle Supersonics (R.I.P. 1967-2008); Miami Heat
MLS: Seattle Sounders FC
EPL: Manchester City FC

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
This sounds bad. What system is everyone on that is having issues?
EDIT Sounds like Glen came up with a solution. Good job.If a loved one is expecting a baby or just had one, please read about Craniosynostosis. It is a common birth defect that can sometimes be overlooked by doctors.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
So a lead designer at a major studio, making millions off of madden, promises to fix a known legacy issue that has plagued the game for years, that with this years confidence/progression/regression system causes every single off line cfm players game to be unplayable, and we just appreciate the good faith effort and hope next year when we clonk down 60$ that we didn't get fooled again?
Oi.
There are plenty of other threads to gripe and claim the game to be the offspring of the devil. Some of us are trying to help the community and increase the enjoyment of the game.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
I know its too much to ask but can we limit the posts in this thread to the stats issue, the fixes and workarounds and the impact of the workarounds instead of the normal EA sucks complaints?

Yea I did not mean to step on anyones toes. This basically breaks offline cfm for me, which is what I buy the game for, and I was upset that someone was defending the process that put out such a broken sim engine. I will refrain from negative thoughts and think only happy butterfly awesome thoughts and things from now on.
On a side note, I am in the lab, and the workaround seems to be producing better stats, but now I am worried that the only way to play a game is to turn simulate game prep off. That puts the cpu/user autopilot teams at a disadvantage. Its like whackamole with these issues.Comment

Did you bother to read my post? I mean really you took from what I posted as it being about making negative posts? Really?

Are defensive numbers off as well?

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
I haven't, but with testing I've seen that both Playbook and Scheme makes a difference. Move Pass Balance to West Coast on playbook with both at vertical, you'll see Pass yards drop 700-1000 yards. I'm not saying that leaving the playbooks will never get you good stats, but I know you'll have more leverage if you do change.Comment

Just stumbling upon this thread now. Can someone kindly direct me to a post describing the workaround to this issue, or recap it for me? Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
So if we have to turn off simulate game prep for all teams, then they won't do any game prep therefore no progression or confidence increases correct?Comment

Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats
Defensive numbers look ok. Sacks are a little high. Int's and tackles are about right. I haven't played with the defensive playbooks yet. Might do that tonight. Pretty happy with the offensive numbers from the work around.Comment

Correct some have learned that sack totals will end up in the 30ish for some players..my hope once I get my hand on the game..is to also edit defensive schemes as well to combat this to a certain extent..it appears we have a play count problem or maybe blitz (aggressive play call) issue.. Which makes me think of an idea..what if we only change defensive schemes? We looks at the passing totals as a offense issue when the issue maybe too "strong" defensive sim stats? As sack totals at " normal" sim stats we still high
