Re: Madden NFL 15 Video - Simulated Season Stats

This is exactly what I did step by step: it took probably about 1 hour 45 mins to do it all.

*****THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP****
First things first, I have a roster, need to learn how to upload it will work on that. Cant do anything without these roster tweaks: Any dbs--(i really didn't do all, probably like 75% of the 'aggressive' treated ones--which is like 18-25 dudes all together)--any dbs who had the player trait of aggressive for 'play ball in air' i changed to balanced..and for ****s n giggles i changed a few random balanced dudes to conservative… I may have also touched a couple of catch ratings (NO ratings changes were dramatic whatsoever…i changed catch ratings from like 92 to a 90 or something like that) just kinda chipped away at most of the dbs ratings

So step one: get my roster, or take 20 mins and do your own--i don't think you can download new roster into already started ccm

Step two: start connected career with the roster you just made/downloaded-eventually-when-i-put-it-up.

Step three: Choose YOUR team, make your owner or whatever.

Step four: Create 31 other owners---you might be able to do coaches, but just do what Im telling you to do *I don't know if this is necessary, but i hear people having trouble with advancing weeks without doing a bunch of stuff for teams, i don't have that problem, just when you create an owner thats not you, the ccm settings that first pop up, I go all the way to the bottom and make sure the bottom 4 are turned ON so that the CPU controls progression FA and stuff like that* i don't know if thats necessary tho..but again--take the ten mins and just do it…I've don't it like 6 times today already lol

Step five: Also, very important step. Press right stick down and choose any owner. Go to 'Team', 'Team Roadmap', 'Scheme', and change offensive playbook and offensive scheme, respectively, to the following:
    chi- pass balanced/west coast
    cin- pass balanced/balanced
    buf- pass balanced/balanced
    den- run n gun/west coast
    cle- run balanced/west coast
    tb- run balanced/ balanced
    ari- run balanced/ vertical
    sd- west coast/ vertical
    kc- run balanced/ balanced
    ind- west coast/ vertical
    dal- west coast/ balanced
    mia- pass balanced/ power run
    phi- run balanced/ zone run
    atl- west coast/ vertical
    sf- pistol/ power run
    nyg- pass balanced/ balanced
    jax- balanced/ west coast
    nyj- run balanced/ vertical
    det- west coast/ vertical
    gb- pass balanced/ west coast
    car- pistol/ power run
ne- run n gun/ west coast
    oak- balanced/ west coast
    st.l- pass balanced/ power run
    bal- balanced/ balanced
    was- pistol/ west coast
    no- west coast/ vertical
    sea- pistol/ balanced
    pit-balanced/ balanced
    hou- balanced/ vertical
    ten- pass balanced/ balanced
    min- run balanced/ power run

repeat for every team EXCEPT for your team.

Step six (almost done): Press right stick down. Select your owner. Go to 'League', 'Settings', 'User Teams', and set all except for yours to Auto-pilot for 'unlimited' *this ties in with what i said earlier about turning the cpu on for team decisions and stuff when first starting*
*****DONT FORGET TO HIT RIGHT STICK BEFORE EVERY GAME AND CHANGE TO TEAM TOURE ABOUT TO PLAY AND CHANGE THE PLAYBOOK BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL, AND THEN BACK AFTER THE GAME IS OVER****

Step seven: enjoy these beautiful stats and make sure to share everything on here!

Some cool things to note about those stats I got:

RGIII only played in 11 games
Madden consistently hates Peyton manning this year
Johnny Manziel started all 16 games Hoyer got hurt in preseason (manziel- 19TDs 24 INTs)
Ben Roethlisberger only played in 13 games but was like 10th or 12th in passing yards
AJ Green led league with 116 receptions i don't think i posted a pic of WR stats
Andre Johnson led the league with 1700 yards, the dude is a beast

Thanks guys..and sorry about the long post.

Even with the attempts to fix the issue. The stats are still whack.

Touchdowns are on the low side. Interceptions are on the high side on both offense and defense.. Sacks are high.

TDs are not on the low side…last year, peyton manning threw for 55 tds, an all time record (by a lot)..second place was 37, and like four other dudes in the 30s..i think tds look great…also, in the last sim i did i had two players over 40 TDs, so theres room for more TDs in there…

Sacks are high and INTs are higher but its 99% better than what we had to work with…theres more room to work with too….take defensive players and turn more of them to conservative..a little bit more boost down for catching..blah blah

Stats looking way better!!. Ill definitely use the scheme playbook work around. Did a few tests with it myself. Way better then out of the box sim stats. Sacks and int a bit high but ill take it.

only not gonne tweek any player ratings. Cause players will progess, so after seadon 1 you dont have any control over that anymore.
And if I compare your stats with the sim I did, sack and ints arent that different.

Still awesome theres a work around

Thanks bro, from my experience changing the schemes and playbooks exclusively will work, but passing numbers will still be low (4000 yards top and 30 td) it's a good quick fix but in order to get proper numbers I don't even think it's the player ratings, because I really barely touched those, but it's the player traits that's the big game changer.

Also, these stats aren't way off. Last year, 6 guys had 20 or more sacks, I have 8 and most are 22-20.

INTs aren't that bad either. I have a 13,12 and then one 8 and lower. QB stats are on point as well. Look on espn the numbers are there. I think this game plays fantastic and with these fixes, I think this is better than any patch will get it tbh. Keep in mid, I've done this twice now and gotten different results, both balancing each other out. I think this is as good as it will get. Now start your cfms

One more thing, I'm excited I got this fixed sorry lol. But I have a file for everything from my roster, to the beginning of a franchise with everything already done, just ready to switch active owners to your team. If it's possible to throw all of this online let me know how I've never done it or even tried. But thanks guys. I have class in 6 hours and still need to sleep so have a goodnight fellas

Man its looking like EA might actually fix this issue. I can believe that this got passed them. Hopefully after this is matched then we can all enjoy CFM.

My mistake..meant passer rating, but Madden uses passer rating and not qbr.

As long as I don't have to constantly switch things back and forth like I think angels was saying earlier in this thread, that looks like a good workaround Connolly. I might wait a couple more days though to see if EA puts out a quick fix or if anyone improves upon your work. Thanks

Nice job Connolly ! I also changed the aggressive 3-4 defensive teams to just 3-4 playbook. Cut down on olb sacks. My sims had 1 guy at 22( worilds from Pitt) rest was below 17.

                          Now it's time to play!

Lets stop acting like this "got past" them just this year. This was a problem last year and they ignored it.

Thats why I challenge this dev team to become a little more involved with this community instead of just lurking occasionally. There are tons of legacy issues that we've caught that should be addressed.

Exactly. For some reason it always seems like One step forward two steps back. The gameplay becomes amazing but core issues are still overlooked. Hopefully the next iteration of Madden has this issue resolved.
